  • Streaky's powers are stolen by Waddles, who uses them to help Artie and Griff steal.

The Penguin's birds are trying to escape, and Waddles is seemingly slower than the others. At STAR Labs, they hide from Krypto, Streaky, and Ace (first episode where all of the heroes team up), and Waddles sees something that interests him: a power switcher. After observing how it works, he lures Streaky into one cage, and he gets in the other, transfering Supercat's powers to him. With his new super powers, he saves Artie and Griff, and they begin to go on a stealing spree, while Krypto and Ace try to figure out how to get Streaky's powers back and stop them. Nothing seems to stop Waddles, until they get the perfect chance. A golden bird cage is on display, and they replace it with one of the power switcher cages. They steal the cage, and at their hideout, Krypto and the others wait for Waddles to get inside of it, then switch Streaky's powers back. As a show of appreciation, Streaky catches the birds by himself, showing the most strength he has in a long while.

This perfectly shows us how strong Streaky can truly be when he puts his mind to it. Also, the episode felt like it went by at the right speed, taking care not to rush things too much. It's definitely worth seeing. 10/10moreless
  • Great to watch.

    9.1
This is about Waddles stealing Streaky's super powers and uses them against Krypto and Ace. This is a geat episode and I also see it as a heartbreak since the next new episode isn't on until December and the new season doesn't start until January. I give this a 9.1/10.

    • Waddles: (About the solid-gold birdcage) I'm gonna make this my own little reading room!
      Griff: Ah, very stylin', super-dude!
Waddles: Now, if I only knew how to read...

    • Streaky: Hold it, Waddles! Put your wings in the air, and don't try any funny stuff!
Waddles: Funny stuff? You mean, like this? (Starts flying)

    • Krypto: Streaky! Don't play with the criminals.
(Streaky stops spinning the caged Penguin's Birds)
      Streaky: Sorry.

    • Ace: Where did Waddles get superpowers?
Streaky: Uh guys, I'm not feeling very super.
      Ace: Never mind.

  • NOTES (4)

    • This is Lois Lane's second appearance.

    • This episode marks the first time Krypto, Streaky and Ace all starred adn actually fought together in the same episode. Streaky had a speaking cameo in "Bat Hound for a Day" and Krypto had a cameo in the "Cat and the Bat", but this is the first time when Krypto, Ace and Streaky were all given a starring role.

    • The plot of this episode is very similar to the plot of "Bat Hound for a Day" which introduced the Penguin's birds. In that episode Krypto looses his power due to Red Kryptonite. In this episode, Streaky loses his powers.

    • This is the first time we get an honest feel for how powerful Streaky can really be when he's properly motivated (and the most agressive Streaky has been in the series since his origin episode, "The Streaky Story"). In addition to the uses Waddles got out of the powers while he had them, there was Streaky's payback at the end. Not only did he use his super-breath to blow the cage right into Waddles, but he also catches Artie and Griff in arm-spin-generated vacuum winds before he literally lifts up the cage and spins it around.
