I remember the original Kung Fu series as a child. Which I enjoyed very much. But I only got around to this sequel series recently. I am not a big fan of this type of action series normally because I know find the plots and characters fairly predictable.

However I am a hypnofetishist and having caught up on this series through a one episode a day run on CBS Reality here in Britain I thought I would write a little about this episode.

The episode appears to be heavily influenced by "Devil Doll" a 1964 Black and White British picture in which a hypnotist in addition to being able to capture the minds of (of course) young, beautiful women to bed, rob and then kill. Can also transfer their minds into dolls!

One gets the feeling the writer of this episode is a hypnofetishist and knows there are a lot of closet cases out there. Due not only to the reuse of the basic concept but also his insertion of certain lines such as one blonde lovely asking the hero cop (Caine's son) "you think I am his slave ? Wouldn't you like me to be YOUR slave do everything YOU wanted" !!? (Yeah, yeah babe!)

The idea of being able to bewitch any person you desired to become your loving slave appeals DEEPLY to many men and indeed women. It's never made explicit in this episode (UNLIKE the film I mentioned earlier) but if I had the ability to make women as cute as these fall totally in love with me AND was also sufficiently immoral to steal their money and then murder them then I most certainly would be immoral enough to indulge my carnal desires with them before I did....

Watching this episode is a guilty pleasure for a lot of men I think.....you really want the bad guy to carry on living the dream but of course he is a murderer and thief TOO so he gets what for ....not unfortunately before at least one of his mesmerised females is killed.moreless
