Show Summary

Kwik Witz was a syndicated comedy program that did not seem to fit into any particular category. It originated from WMAQ-TV, channel 5, in Chicago. It was hosted by Andi Matheny, and Jillian Hamilton, later on. It was an impromtu comedy sketch show similar to Who's Line Is It Anyway?, with 2 teams of comedians who were given a challenge, then had to think up random comedy sketches based on the challenge, hence the name "Kwik Witz." The live studio audience voted on the winner, with 100 points earned in each round being divided between each team. The team with the most points at the end of the show was the winner. The team that lost had to choose the prize for the winner. A third season was under way ,under the spelling "Qwick Witz", with Robin Nance as the host, but was cancelled in September of 1999. The show was produced by former "Who's Line" player, Ron West, and "Who's LIne..." regulars Wayne Brady and Denny Siegal both got their start on "Qwick Witz."
Kwik Witz was a Beau and Arrow Production.moreless
