it said it comes back in january of 09...ABC family looks like an up and coming cable channel here. a lot of stuff planned. good for them! their 25 days of x-mas sucks though. harry potter, cars and several other christmas movies aren't....well x-mas related at all! the chronicles of narnia has a 10 second santa clause scene!

It should have been back this summer, and with new episodes in January. I think only doing 10 episodes a season is too little. Ordering 23 for this past season was a smart thing. Too bad they didn't order up more. If they kept stringing it out, we are only gonna get maybe 1 more season after this upcoming one. Just like they did away with Wildfire after 4 seasons. So 10 for this season, then some finale season of 10-20 episodes in 2010. That's what I'm expecting.

I think it is going to be more likely to return at some point this summer then again next January. According to April Matson's blog on face book they are waiting to hear if the show has been extended to 20 episodes. She say's that they should hear soon. I also doubt that on the website that they would say returning soon if it was next January. Soon normally means within six months. But as they say living on a prayer, I hope its not next January, a lot of people will probably lose interest if they leave it that long.

Hm. That doesn't actually make sense. I mean, they are all ready and set to air this summer. They even had a date for the first episode (which is obviously done). Maybe they meant an extension of another 10. Hopefully that's the case because if it isn't, I'm down 2 shows for the summer. Leaving me with just Burn Notice and Psych for the summer. Which would not be good.

I'd love it if they aired the show sooner, but if they have a good reason then I understand, because if they're low on money or something and don't want to lose fans by airing low budget episodes that aren't up to the same standards as earlier seasons then I get it and sometimes I wish other shows had made that decistion but it this isn't as high budget as most of the shows I know that have that problem (I'm a little bit of a sci fi lover so special effects tend to raise the costs of some of my favorite shows). The problem is how many fans will they have lost by January? I mean I know science fiction fans tend to hang on (just check out the active forums of any dead science fiction show it's crazy) but I don't believe all the fans of Kyle XY are science fiction fans, because the show seems to be aimed at the family and aspects of drama a lot of the time.

I agree, i think they will loose alot of fan by waiting with the new season for next year.

I've only just started watching kyle xy and i got to admit its growing on me its different and clever. I should be on season 2 soon. Gonna buy the dvds.
