    Like many BBC television comedies this started life on Radio 4. Whilst not quite launching Angus Deayton's career it certainly was the first show to bring him to public prominence. It also brought Steve Coogan to our screens in the form of a manager of a currency bureau in a docu-soap/reality tv segment.

    Like the Day Today, the idea behind KYTV was to parody the growing number of cheap satellite format programmes. Like the Day Today it soon became hard to distinguish between this and the real thing.
