  • I never expected it to be so good - and because of that the emotion after this episode - even greater.

I most admit - it was painful to watch. Maybe because I have been in situation when people who love just cannot work things out on one or another reason, and from that, I have started to take everything like this too seriously, even if years have passed, i just still cannot handle seeing someone leaving other - on screen or in reality. Just look into Michael's eyes and there is all the words he wants to say but does not. Is he afraid or it is just too much pain to admit those feelings? Or he just things section follows them too clearly? It more and more feels like he just cannot get those words over his lips.

And more and more, it seems that Madeline is behind many things. This episode gave so many more hints. The way she talked with her, in the beginning and end, the way she smiled.. and the scene when they used Nikita and send him to Jurgen's house and they were listening her words - I never thought Michael wanted anyone to hear them. And the way she just stand there. They have super cast there.

And more moving and moving the story goes. Nikita gets more and more involved with Jurgen and she has no idea they are using him. For her, he seems just to be the man, Walter said he is (not the man Michael said), one of those 5%. And she is also one of that 5% and I am sure, she feels there are many things common. And when he makes his own decisions - that moves Nikita even more. That man seems to be so different - so honest until the moment it comes out that he has his own little dirty secrets and he also lies. There is no hope from that from Section.

And the mission (when it finally happens), the decision Michael makes - he is ready to go. But Jurgen has his own decision as he believes he is gone...

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • The group that Section is battling in this episode is called the Fifth Order, which has connections to the Russian mafia.

    • In the previous episode "Third Person", Michael shot Jurgen in the leg to save his life. In this episode we have the reverse- Jurgen shoots Michael in the leg so that he can go on a suicide mission instead of Michael.

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Michael: I respect Jurgen for who he is and what he tried to do, but certain things are absolute. Jurgen could not be allowed to hold the Section hostage.
Nikita: How could you do this, Michael? (she puts the bug planted on her on Michael's desk)
      Michael: I just told you.
Nikita: Not to him, to me!

    • Michael: You weren't home when I called.
Nikita: I went out for dinner. Why? Is that a problem?
      Michael: No.
Nikita: All right, Michael. So, what is this? So, I went out for dinner. What do you care? (Michael does not answer) Patented Michael answer, the blank stare. If you are jealous, just be jealous. Tell me not to see him.
Michael: Is that all it would take?
Nikita: Maybe, maybe not. But at least it would be something real emotion, instead of this cryptic game of twenty questions.

    • Michael: I had to keep my feelings separate. That's how I live my life, Nikita. Split in two. I never let anyone see the other half, but it's there, always part of me.

    • Michael: It was never my intention to hurt you.
Nikita: So that makes it okay? How far back does it go? My training with Jurgen? Or when you brought me in? The night we had together?
Birkoff: (coming into Michael's office) Everybody's been contacted. Walter needs you in inventory.
Michael: In a minute. (Birkoff leaves)
Nikita: Well, that's the first time you had the Section wait for me.

    • Michael: Nikita, some of the things I said about Jurgen are not true. I tell you this just in case you have any doubt as to what kind of man he was. I'm sure you don't. Jurgen trained me when I first came to the Section. I'll miss him.

    • Nikita: (referring to her return to Section) I won't lie to you, I'm not happy to be here. But it's not about getting out anymore.
