    9.0
Nikita has to get a file to bring down Section. She manage to get down, get the file but as she is curious, she decided to see Michael's personal file but end up having the alarm turned on - so she is in bad position. She manages to escape there, but it becomes more and more clear that this cannot go on any longer - too many lies, too much danger.

Michael, on the same time, has to find who brake in there. there is a test they use on operatives and Nikita tries to fool the test but she still remains the main suspect as Michael believes she is behind it, when Operations ask him.

So Michael goes and confronts Nikita, who would have given in for the words not long ago, but now knows she is too deep in lies, and Michael has no change to bring her and Adrian down.

Two women get back, after a failure of getting one man, at home to find that Carla and all others have been killed and then Section people come in, take Adrian. Michael, in hard position, gives Nikita change to escape but she refuses.

Back on Section, Nikita challenge the Section and both Adrian and Operations have to prove why their way of things is the best, but in the end, Nikita stays with Section - as the crimes they committed are worth the good they do.

And the moving ending... and those so silently said words what almost we missed them - beautiful...moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

  • QUOTES (11)

    • Michael: It's gone too far Nikita. They won't let this pass. If there was ever a time you had to trust me, it's now.

    • Nikita: Okay, Michael, now you lost me.
Michael: You're in over you head.
Nikita: Take your hands off me, please.
Michael: Now listen to me. If Adrian succeeds, every operative will be canceled. No exceptions. They will roll up Section like it never existed. And if you think Adrian can protect you, you're wrong. Where's Adrian?
      Nikita: I don't know.
      Michael: Where's the file?
      Nikita: I don't know.
      Michael: You're lying.
      Nikita: I don't know.
Michael: Why... why? This is your last chance. Our last chance. Where's Adrian?
      Nikita: I don't know.
Michael: Then you leave me no choice.

    • Michael: Go.
      Nikita: What?
Michael: Outside you have a very small chance. Back at Section you have none. Go now.
Nikita: What's the point, I'm not going to run.

    • Adrian: My only regret is that I brought down with me a very brave young woman. I'm sorry Nikita, more sorry than I can say.

    • Madeline: That's why we selected her, because of her ambivalence. She didn't deceive you so much as she allowed you to deceive yourself.

    • Adrian: Shall we make an end of it?
Nikita: Wait! It's not as simple as that.
      Operations: It's over, Nikita.
Nikita: It's over when I say it's over.

    • Operations: I don't have to justify anything to you.
Nikita: Today you do. Section's on trial. Defend it.

    • Nikita: Operations. Is that what it's about? Controlling the world?
Operations: We will control whatever we have to, to prevent the dark ages from descending again on the human race.
Adrian: Choose carefully, Nikita. There will never be a moment like this again in your lifetime.
Nikita: Michael, any words of wisdom?
Michael: What have you seen with your own eyes?
Madeline: Yes. Are the crimes we've committed worse that the crimes we've prevented? And the people we've brought down, is the world a better place without them?
      Nikita: Yes it is.
Madeline: Then you have your answer.

    • Nikita: I didn't enjoy deceiving you Michael, but Adrian was listening, it had to be real.

    • Madeline: ...I'd rather deal with one recalcitrant operative than a mutiny. [...] Increase her mission frequency. Eventually, the problem will take care of itself.

    • Michael: You have at least six hours before they make a decision. You're level two, they'll have to clear it with Oversight.
Nikita: I told you before, I'm not going to run.
      Michael: They'll cancel you.
      Nikita: Probably.

  • NOTES (2)

    • There was a deleted scene included in the season 3 DVD set from this episode. Nikita follows Michael home from Section and sees him with his family, though they used different actors for the parts. They scrapped the scene, but recycled the idea for the first episode of the third season, "Looking For Michael".

    • There is a blooper reel scene from this episode included in the season 2 DVD set. When Michael takes the KL-6 to the secure area of section, he puts it in a recess in a wall unit. In the blooper reel, Roy turns around with a cup of coffee in his hand, as if the wall unit were a vending machine.
