  • Great aftermath of season 1 finale what leads us into new and adventurous season.

    Very special episode.

Nikita is alive, away but she cannot run and hide from her past. It is just hunting her and she does not have her so long wanted freedom.

On the other hand, Michael knows nothing about her and is out of himself, being threat to others and himself. He is demoted as Operations does not believe he is capable of handling the situation.

We have a mission but it is on the back, only to lead into the Lyon, where on the most dangerous situation when Michael is left alone in a shoting, Nikita to come and save his life as he has done so many times it for her. For him she seems to be like a ghost first, but then... those look.

This episode is full of those fantastic scenes and good moments - the Lyon scene, then on boat, back to the cage or whatever it was, that chair, back on the section.

I really had many doubts if I really will give this episode a 10 points as I started to think - is it really so good episode or we all just want to see Nikita and Michael together at last. Ok, I think that is the reason we love this episode and there is no point to lie for yourself. This is the main reason but to start thinking - the mission, the situation - danger, excitement - it was good.

I just feel there is no words - the episode was powerful, superbly plotted and written. Some shocking moments like the place when Michael just seemed to careless Nikita but then started to beat her for the cover, the way he treated her in the end. But many beautiful views, stylish action.

    • Madeline: (beginning the interrogation of Ackerman) For the next three days you'll be subjected to an intensive debriefing. You will cooperate with us because you know how things are done here. When we're done with you. you'll be cancelled. Any questions?

    • Madeline: (believing Nikita to be dead) You can't bring her back, Michael. Stop trying.

    • Michael: Why didn't you let me know you were alive?
Nikita: I almost did once, I don't why I didn't. I put everything out of my mind. Even the things that I didn't want to forget. Do you know, for three years all I did was dream about getting out of the Section. When I did, it wasn't what I expected. This isn't freedom. This isn't freedom...

    • Michael: (after he passionately kisses Nikita) I thought I lost you.
Nikita: You never had me! (Nikita kisses him just as passionately)

    • Nikita: I had a dream last night, you said some things to me, you revealed your feelings.
Michael: Sometimes all we have is our dreams.
Nikita: Closer. (Michael leans closer, Nikita whispers in his ear) You went through a lot of trouble to bring me back here... I want to know why!
      Michael: Be patient.

    • Michael: After the explosion, I started to believe you didn't make it out in time. I thought you were dead. When I saw you in Lyons, it brought me back. I never realized I needed you so much.

  • NOTES (3)

    • This episode includes Peta and Roy's first nude scene together.

    • The scene where Michael's team is ambushed and Nikita saves him- they originally filmed the scene with the Section operatives in a jungle wearing green camos and face paint, but when they saw the dailies they decided it didn't work, and re-shot it. But the scene was included with the season two DVD set.
