Quinn mentions that Nikita is now a level six operative.
Mr Jones tells Michael that his wife Elena is dead, and that it was an unfortunate but legitimate car accident.
Operations calls Mr. Jones by his first name, Phillip.
Section battles The Collective again in this episode.
Black Moon is said to have no connection to The Collective, but Black Moon's representative, Mr Piket was the man being guarded by O'Brien and Nikita. It must be that the Black Moon delegate at the real meeting refused to join The Collective.
The cover mission when Nikita retrieves the shadow disc is against Black Moon, who have no connection to The Collective. But the mission in Vilnius is against The Collective.
Goof: In the previous episode, which ends just where this episode begins, Mr Jones was listening to opera. When Nikita walks into the room, there is no longer any music playing, and Jones is too deeply absorbed in his book to have shut it off in a split second with a remote.
Goof: Canadian rock singer Alannah Myles plays Massima Valenti in this episode. Her name is misspelled in the credits, however, as "Allanah Myles".
The enemy is yet again The Collective.
Nitpick: Nikita putting the last tracker on her bullet and firing it off should not have worked. The limo was visible from the road, and one of the vehicles should have stopped to see if there was any sign of Jones, if the driver knew anything, or even just to look for bodies.
The Collective is yet again the main foe, but Hoffbauer used to be a member of Glass Curtain.
Walter mentions that he worked in "Spec Ops" for 10 years.
O'Brien's nickname in Section is "O.B."
Quinn is promoted to level three comm operative in this episode, which is one level below that of Birkoff when he ran comm.
Section faces The Collective in this episode. Vera Mason, who is kidnapped by O'Brien and Nikita, was formerly of Glass Curtain.
Terrorists from numerous groups, including Red Cell and Black Moon, now form the core of The Collective, Section's new primary nemesis.
Goof: When Michael gets to his final mark in the abeyance mission and activates the detonator, the clock reads 40 seconds. But when he starts the timer it's set at 50 seconds.
Interesting that while most abeyance operatives aren't told that they are on a suicide mission, Michael is fully aware and doesn't intend to avoid his demise.
Two men strongly resembling the twins who worked for Adrian are on the plane with Mr Jones and Jason.
Red Cell is yet again Section's target in this episode.
