    • Trivia

      ADD TRIVIA
      • Supposedly alien planet: pretty much every Hollywood movie cliché shown. Edit
      • Within walking distance: a bridge, a four-lane highway, at least one or two movie studios Edit
    • Notes

      ADD NOTES
      • Steve's reference to the murder-mystery movie they're in being "not exactly a Groucho Marx comedy" doesn't make much sense. It's presumably an in-joke reference to Groucho Marx, whose sister-in-law Dee Hartford appeared in the episode Target: Earth, and who himself funded much of producer Irwin Allen's early career. Edit
      • Baby's cage looks suspiciously like the smaller-sized cage that the Giants often put the Earthlings in. Edit
      • A parody of the movie-making business, including some of the Hollywood goings-on of the series itself. The use of the little people in lieu of stunt actors is probably a jab at the fact Allen rarely used stunt doubles for his real-life actors either. Edit

      ADD QUOTES
      • (talking about the movie they're in) Steve: Not exactly a Groucho Marx comedy, is it? (see also Notes) Edit
      • (meta-reference) Steve: What happens if he does a sequel? Or a series? We've got a lifetime job. Edit
      • (talking about the little people as actors) Manfred: Can they act? Egor: Does it matter? Manfred: Of course not! Edit
