Allegedly midway through the episode the producers noticed that Valerie was showing a bit too much cleavage. They put a kind of "cleavage" patch on, but because the scenes weren't filmed in sequence, it appears and disappears several times. She starts with no patch, then it appears when she gets dumped in the box, then it disappears when she and Fitz are put in the plane. Then it reappears again when she appears in the graveyard, and disappears after she wakes up from being stunned, and remains gone for the rest of the episode.
Supposedly alien planet: The giants use the cliche "curiosity killed the cat"
(to Steve) Bryk: Big words for such a little man.
(talking about Fitzhugh) Bryk: Now for the little fat one.
Melzac: You'll thank me when you get there. Dan: You mean if we get there. Melzac: You'll do that too.
Scenes with the giant lizard/dinosaur are reused from the Irwin Allen motion picture The Lost World.
The Spindrift is not seen in this episode.
Stefan Arngrim appears briefly in this episode, but has no dialogue and no participation in the story.
The triangular force field prop from "The Chase" reappears here.
The producers and director reuse the Beneath the Planet of the Apes set (also in "Secret City of Limbo") for the long shots of the servo-actuator chamber.
