  • If you've seen the episode I won't recap. There are several plots that over run each other, typical for the formatting. Counterfeit money, bounty hunters, pregnantcy, depression and FBI involvement. Actually pretty easy to follow, up to a point.moreless

My problem with this particular show was music. In this episode, toward the end, Sam gets involved with a client in a deep depression, and takes him to her room. There is a definite increase in the volume of the background music. This is fine and appropriate until it over runs the main plot and the dialog cannot be heard. This happens several times as they cycle back and forth from scene to scene. I have several regular programs that I watch on DVR to fast forward thru the commercials. I went back many times trying to catch what was said to no avail. Much of the dialog was totally over run by Sam's bedroom scene!!!!!! (they won't allow me to write in ALL CAPS to emphasize my point or I would) Like who really gives a rip! The main plot was ruined for me by not being able to hear what was said during the shootout in the hall. Coop's dialog and Danny's words were totally over powered by the "bedroom" sound track!! Up to this point it was a great story line. Even after all was said and done the music prevailed. This was not an isolated incident either.

We went to the next recording and it seemed like they decided to carry the loud music theme over to this one. I didn't even watch it, I deleted it after 5 minutes of straining to hear and understand, and came to write this review. I will be contacting the producer, if I can, and let him know he lost a loyal viewer because of these two programs. I won't be watching Las Vegas any more!moreless
  • Las Vegas back to it's best again.

    9.8
A far better episode than some of the previous we've recently had, Las Vegas get's back to the nitty gritty with counterfeit 100 dollar bill's being distributed at Piper's pool party, the Montecito gets over-run by more bounty hunters than you can shake a stick at who along with the FBI are after a fugitive who's holed up at the casino, problem is he's been on the run for a number of years and has changed his appearance.

On the domestic front Delinda is feeling fat and insecure due to her pregnancy but is also taking fun out of Danny for pilling on the pounds over Christmas, Sam is hyper when she learns her favourite whale and family are coming to the Montecito, but her mood soon changes when she finds out that the whales wife and 3 children where killed due to a shooting and now she must take it upon herself to help her whale come to terms with the tragedy whilst at the same time trying to help herself come to terms.

The episode was brilliant in every way, it had comedy, romance, suspense and action, though I did find the shoot out at the end similar to the Ben Afflick film Smokin' Aces with all the bounty hunters after the same person, also I cannot wait to find out what Cooper meant by ' we meet again ' to the guy with the shotgun. I just hope Coopers story wont disappoint.moreless
