Finally this episode brought back the \"feel\" of the past seasons -- which is good. Lots of various situations coming in and resolved perfectly. There are lots of funny scenes, dialogues, and events. Unlike the previous four episodes, this one provided the mysterious and crime-busting plot we all enjoyed during the past seasons. Hope this keeps up.
  • This was a very boring episode.

I didn't care about Sam's brother, Ed's health problems, or Mike losing Ed's car. And the fact that it was kids that broke into Ed's bank accounts was very predictable. The brothel was funny and all the girls saying hi to Danny was great but that was the best part of the whole hour.
  • This show has it all Drama and Humor.

This episode shows why Las Vegas is one of my favorite shows. It is a fun drama. In a way it's like a family too. Ed acts as if he is father to them all. Letting Mike borrow his car to impress a girl, what boss would let you do that? I love when Ed and Danny go off after someone, the whole scene with the prostitutes was hysterical. Danny in the background trying to keep a straight face. Then when they go see the guy Danny going to be the bad guy, gotta love the way Ed handled it. I also liked the whole side story with Sam's brother, especially when he was telling Delinda and Mary about Sam. This show definitely has it all, great cast, great writing, drama, humor and family albeit dysfunctional.moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

  • QUOTES (16)

    • Danny: The doctor's right, you need to cut back on your stress.
      Ed: Yeah? How?
Danny: I don't know. Maybe not chasing, some guy who stole your credit cards, in the middle of the night-
      Ed: And my money.

    • Big Tina (the Madamme): Honey you remember a guy named Ed Deline who was in here about 4 hours ago?
      Honey: How could I forget?
      Ed: Why is that?
Honey: Let's just say I know why Ed Deline has to pay for it.
      (Danny giggles in the background)
Ed: You... mmm... didn't notice anything that stands out about him?
Honey: Stands out? Unfortunately not much of a standing at all.
      (Danny now bursts into laughter)

    • (Ed and Danny head to a brothel, to investigate Ed's identity theft)
Ed: Where the hell is this place?
Danny: In Pahrump, just up the road (Ed gives Danny a stare) not that I've ever been there...
      Ed: Uh huh!
      Danny: ...Much.
Ed: All right step on it, you drive like my mother.

    • (Ed's a victim of identity theft)
Ed: Well what have you got?
Mike: Well he used the card several times before the bank finally shut it down, but... ehh... solid gold watch at Caesar's, a 50 inch plasma screen and... ehh... then there's this place.
Ed: What place (pulls the list from Mike's hands, reads it) You've got to be kidding me.
Mike: Nope, it's a whore house

    • (Sam's half-brother shows up at The Montecito)
Delina: Aren't you at least curious to know why he's here?
Sam: I know why he's here: he wants money.
      Delinda: Well he's super cute.
Sam: Perfect, there you go, he's super cute, he's super funny, he's super charming, until he tries to dry hump you in the back seat of my car, on the way to Prom... that was my best friend Kara Borkavitch, she never spoke to me again.
      Delinda: What a jerk!
Sam: What do you mean "what a jerk"? That's my family... I don't talk bad about your family.
      Delinda: I'm sorry, I just-
      (Sam walks away)

    • (Danny and Penny are making out, his phone rings)
      Penny: Oh don't you dare!
Danny: Ahg! It's the big man, wait a second... Yes?... Uh Huh... Robbed!?... Ok I'll be right there.
      Penny: The Casino was robbed?
      Danny: No worse... the Delines.

    • Mary: So I was cleaning out your old bedroom and I came across some reading material.
(Mary hands Danny a stack of porn magazines)
Danny: I only kept them, because I knew they'd be worth something some day.
Mary: Is that why you kept them under your mattress?
Danny: Yeah, protects them from sunlight.
Mary: I wasn't aware of that.
Danny:(opening a centerfold) Look at that!

    • Danny: Either you tell us how or I am gonna rain.. a storm of thunder down on you of the likes which you have never seen.
Ed: Uhm, rain a storm of thunder?

    • (Referring to Sam's half-brother)
Mary: So, what's her brother like?
Delinda: Well,...he has no job, smokin' hot, and Sam hates him. Dibs!

    • (Danny and Ed walk into Big Tina's brothel)
      Escort: Hey Danny.
      Ed: That's amazing, amazing.
Danny: I went to high school with that girl.
      Ed: (sarcastically) Uh-huh.
      Danny: I'm serious.

    • Ed: Did you ever pull a guy's fingernails out with pliers?
      Danny: No, I haven't, why?
Ed: Just making conversation. Oh, do you have a pair of pliers in the car?
      Danny: Uh, no I don't.

    • (Mary and Delinda talk about Sam's brother)
Mary: Hey sweetie, so what do we know?
Delinda: He has tons of dirt on Sam.
      Mary: Any tip bits?
Delinda: Wouldn't go into details, but the words "cello lessons" were uttered.
Mary: This is going to be fabulous, I've brought along a list of questions to ask him. I broke it down to three categories. The early years, puberty and prison.
      Delinda: Sam was in prison?
      Mary: I just always assumed.
      Delinda: Yeah, me too.

    • Delinda: So, any more Marquez brother or sister floating around?
      Sam: No there are not.

    • Ed: (to Jillian) But you make sure the right Ed Deline climbs into bed with you tonight.

    • Mike: Can I borrow your car tonight?
      Ed: Is she hot?
      Mike: Who?
      Ed: Okay is he hot?
Mike: Oh no, she, definitely she, come on and... mmm... very...
Ed: Ok, but only you drive.
      Mike: Understood.
Ed: No, no, really because I'm going to dust the steering wheel for finger prints.
      Mike: Ok.
Ed: And... nothing goes down in my car, got that Romeo?

    • Mike: Do you know whose car this is? This is BIG Ed Deline's car.

  • NOTES (3)

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Bob, Sam's half-brother, talks about Sam's "break dancing 2: electric boogaloo days". This is most likely a reference to the 1984 movie Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo about local break dancers trying to stop a community center from being destroyed.
