Can You See What I See?
AIRED:
When the hotel enters one of its slowest weeks of the year, Ed decides to stir things up a bit by switching everyone's job positions around so they can walk in one another's shoes. Delinda takes over for Ed and finds herself bored stiff after having to attend a city hall meeting while Sam and Mary take over surveillance. Meanwhile, Danny is in charge of the casino floor and runs into an old high school buddy who's having extremely unusual and suspicious luck winning millions of dollars. Nessa takes over running the restaurant Mystique. Elsewhere, Mike is put to the task of clearing a traffic ticket that Ed claims is wrong - despite the fact that there are photos to prove his guilt.moreless

This is a ok episode but it is not the best episode i liked it but moving everyone around was kind of weird to me nobody is in their same place where we like to see them. Delinda takes her daddys job Danny is in carge of the casino floor Sam and Mary are secerity Nessa runs the restaurt and Mike helps Ed out of a traffic ticket. I liked this episode i gave it a super rating i found it funny what Mitch said when Sam and Mary walked it to the room. that is all i have to say THE END.moreless
  • I hope they do a similar one like this next year too.

    10
I thought this episode was very funny. I loved seeing everyone out of place doing each other's job. It looked like it was a fun episode for the cast to do too. Mary and Sam running around on security, bound and determined to catch someone. Danny as the pit boss making the crucial mistake of giving a comp to a local. The way Nessa and Sam gave him a hard time over it. The whole thing with Mike and Ed trying to prove Ed didn't run the red light was funny. Especially the outcome when he shows the judge. He proved he was innocent of running the red light, but wasn't wearing his seatbelt. This is one of the episodes I enjoyed most this season. Since Ed said they were going to do this every year on the slow week, I'm hoping we see it again next year.moreless
  • This was a very watchable episode, with a cute plot. However, it was definitely not their best ever.

    7.5
This episode definitely had a cute plot. Switching their jobs over is definitely interesting, and watchable. However, not entirely original. It also had some major holes in it. For example, while Sam and Mary were in security. Ed, and Mike were running off solving a stupid thing. So Sam and Mary's jobs were left open. Isn't the job of Casino Host and Entertainment Coordinator kind of important. Sur it was the quietest week of the year, but pretty sure they would still have needed to be working.

All up, it was a cute episode, but had some major holes. Plus, where are the realationships between them going? Sam seems to not really be friends with anybody anymore, and what is happening with Danny and Mary. The show needs to focus more on the characters, so the plot can get back its unmissable zing!moreless

    • Goof: When Ed and Mike are at the convenience store Mike says we need the tapes for the morning of the 11th about 8am. However he did not say which month so how would Earl have known.

    • Goof: There are no automatic red light enforcement cameras in the state of Nevada, because they are currently banned by NRS 484.910 (although the legislature had considered overturning that law and allowing such cameras in 2003).

    • Goof: It is unlikely that distant convenience store or restaurant surveillance cameras would have the resolution necessary to see the individual cars and people in the roller coaster at the top of the Stratosphere, no matter how much the images are "enhanced".

  • QUOTES (1)

    • Ed: Larry!
Larry: Hey Ed, how are you? (Stands up to shake Ed's hand)
Ed: How are you Larry, Good to see you again? Hey can I borrow you for a second?
Larry: Sure. (Turns to the dealer at the table) Hold my chips.
Ed: Listen, I need a little favor: I got one of these red light camera tickets-
Larry: I saw it in the paper, but Ed you know I can't do anything!
Ed: No, no, no you're thinking all wrong, I don't need that. I know you can't be my judge because we know each other and all that. What I need is an opinion.
      Larry: Sure
Ed: Great, can I have those pictures?
      Mike: Sure (Hands them over)
Ed: Take a look at his.
Larry: Ok (Takes a look) Nice likeness, red light camera.
Ed: Yeah, take a look at his other one. This was taken at the very same moment, which proves that camera was improperly calibrated.
Larry: It seems their was some kind of malfunction.
Ed: So obviously you would dismiss this?
Larry: Actually, I'd find you guilty.
      Ed: Guilty of what?
Larry: You're not wearing your seatbelt, that's a serious violation (Mike and Danny start laughing quietly)
Ed: Listen, look behind me to see if these guys are laughing, because, I'm also going to get arrested for assault. Are they smiling?
Danny: Up, Time to go.(Danny and Mike wisely leave)
