  • Molly Sims, acting hard or hardly acting? Kill her off is my idea.

I don't know to whom I shall address the criticism of this ridiculous episode. Granted, they usually all are but this one stood out by far much thanks to Molly Sims complete lack of acting skill. For some, I'm sure she's just a pretty face and talent come second, or as in her case third or forth. Her acting, or rather - lack thereof - was so terrible that I cannot bear watching another episode. She's just too bad!

When being kidnapped by the evil villain d'jour, she just acts so robot like, repeating "daddy, daddy, daddy" and so on, completely without the hint of sincerity or fear in her voice. I know that Las Vegas isn't a show about profound character revelation or interaction between characters, mind you it has gotten much worse and this double episode is the paramount evidence of it. Such shallow "acting" on her part, it must be embarrassing even for a third rate actress as Sims.

Cut the crap! Cancel or shape up!moreless
  • Delinda was kidnapped for 50 mil, if not she will be killed in an exploding coffin. See how Ed tries to come up with the 50 mil and how he saves his daughter.moreless

2 episodes on Las Vegas on the same night, kept me at the edge of my chair for as long as I can remember. What I don\'t understand is how Delinda and Ed got caught by the bad guys in the starting scene. Ed should have known some self-defense since he was from the CIA. Ed being Ed will definitely do some unorthodox things like taking charge of the situation when his daughter was in the bad guy\'s hand. Would anybody do that if his/her daughter was kidnapped? The Mascot and Sam\'s whales were there just to fill up time. They bring in some humor to the or-else-very-serious-episode. It is just fun to watch Las Vegas as the writer and director could mix humor and drama to get the audience to come back for more. If this episode could end with a bang, meaning blowing up the kidnapper, i think it will have a better effect than showing him buried in Delinda\'s box.moreless
  • Delinda in a box. Ed needs 50 Mil in 12 hours. Danny and Mike figuring out what is wrong. Sam playing hide and seek with the lotter winners. Mary taking charge when all else fails. What a good episode.moreless

This weeks two parter was amazing. I haven't been on the edge of my seat like that in ages. I think that James Caan did a hell of a job keeping it a secret, yet giving Danny little clues as to what was going on. I knew from the first insult "Mr. Chips" said to Ed, that Ed would somehow get his revenge on him. Danny played a good bad-ass in this one truley showing how he has become like his father figure, ED. I thought that Mary did a good job with her added screentime. She presented that funny/quirky Mary that we haven't seen since she broke it off with that lawyer Jake. It was also weird to see a non glamorous Delinda. We are used to seeing her all dolled up and looking like a super model, but here she looks horrible and grungy. All in all, this was an amazing episode. It showed some different sides to the characters, Ed's dark side, Danny's badass side, Mary's quirkyiness, and Delinda in distress.

    10/10 from me.moreless
  • I was so looking forward to this double episode after reading a review on it a few weeks ago, and guess what....... i was NOT disappointed.

To be honest i'm not a big one for two parters in Las Vegas and have always said that the show should stick with what it brought us in the beginning, the security and surveillance of a casino and those who revolve around it, however this double episode was well worth the admission fee.

I did think that the whole 2 hours were going to be nail-biting edge of the seat adrenaline pumping action but i was wrong, not only did it bring the drama and suspense element to the show but also mixed a good portion of humour, i knew everything was going to turn out fine in regards to Delinda, Danny and Ed and was so happy for ' Mr Chips' to get his just deserts at the end but what made my evening was the camaraderie that was Mike, Sam and Mary, to be honest i thought Mary's character was getting very stale but this episode showed her hidden talents and her creativity in comedy, where she had to first get a mascot for the Montecito who turned out to be a drunk and perv were hilarious then her scenes as a waitress, a house-maid, masseur then DJ were out of this world, Mike kicking butt outstanding and Sam's head-banging against a brick wall with the two lottery winners playing hide and seek for a million dollars out of this world.

    Excellent episode, enjoyed every minute.moreless
