  • This episode is a vision of the Montecito in the 1960's.

    4.0
In this more rough-and-tumble Vegas we see some of Ed's violent side, Mike and Danny discover the use of surveillance technology and the high-five, and Delinda gives up dreams of being a showgirl to open a clothing store in the casino – then called the Jubilee. This episode is so demeaning to the female characters. Mary plays a waitress and Sam a hooker with a heart of gold. While Danny, Mike and Ed have essentially the same roles; Sam and Mary have fairly big demotions. Is this supposed to reflect the 60's or just to titillate? Normally, a show that places the leads in a different place or time highlights the facets of character – showing, essentially, ways in which they would be the same across time and space, which isn't necessarily done here. Stylistically, it is visually appealing. It definitely had the potential to be a much better episode than it was.moreless
  • For a flashback episode it is a good one for to see vegas back in the 1960's.

The Episode starts out at Danny and Mike wondering how the old days in Vages whent the it goes into a flashback Ed Danny and Mike drive up in a car and they are members of a Kanas City Mafia who goto Las Vegas and have a hostle take over the casino. they go inside and talk to the owner but he does not whant to hear anything about it so ED pulls a few strings and gets his way. Ed become prsendent Mike become secerity and danny Entertament. Sam is a call gril who becomes a casino host so she invied that Danny and Mike Invient survalane for las vegas so basicly they invite all the the stuff used in Las vegas today I think that that is cool this is one of my favorite Episode and it is one of the best in the season. that is all i have to say about everything is old again just one more thing does some with cars and danny ask him about how does he know so much about be a bailey and i think that was a good sence. Ok now it is time to end this reveiw END.moreless

I don't know why people gave this episode such a low rating! I think its a great episode that gives the show a little breather. It was cleverly written. You would think every character would be the same, but there are some twists and good humour to it. I like it that Sam's character was not the same, but it still has the same purpose for the hotel. And finally, we get to see Ed kill someone (well, almost saw it). Of course I think it could have been better, but considering the changes, I think it was a good episode.moreless
  • Danny flashes back to the sixtees, where everything is different. Ed takes over The Jubilee, which will turn into The Montecito, but he can't get rid of the old boss. Danny falls for the beautiful Sam, while Mary is in danger. Mike tries to figure out howmoreless

This is an lovely way to fill up an episode, I think it is really fun espaccially how everybody looks like and how things are settled, I couldn't find one thing that I was annoyid by, and I believe it is one of the most original episodes of Las Vegas! This episode is definatly one you should watch, eventhough it has nothing to do with the problems of The Montecito in 2005. Also it is really great how they keep the characters in honour, Sam is a hore, but we will never see her having sex for money (only for free :P), Ed is an hard working bussinesman, but we will never see him take care of dark bussines, on the screen. It's what I lovw about Las Vegas, its dark, but never hard.moreless
  • I\'m a big fan but this is a big let down

    5.0
First let me start by saying that i am a big fan of the show and so what i am going to say is from a dedicated fan.

This is possibly the biggest let down the show has ever produced, the previous episode leaves the storyline at a pivital point and so i was expecting a cracker of an episode to follow, this look back at the past at the jubilee is just not what I wanted at all.

the episode in itself is not that bad, the costumes are good and the storyline is fairly good, however i just think there could have been a better place for this episode within the series.

Come on guys, let\'s hope that something like this does not happen again.moreless
