Ausiello on Lost, Las Vegas, Grey's, CSI: NY and More Las Vegas; Grey's Anatomy Question: Any news on the Las Vegas front? Has Ben Silverman come to his senses and agreed to give fans a real ending? - Donna Ausiello: Yes and no. Yes, I have some news on the Las Vegas front, but it doesn't involve Ben Silverman coming to his senses re: Vegas. According to one of my NBC moles, exec producer Gary Scott Thompson - who's now helming the Peacock's Knight Rider reboot - has devised a Plan B in the event that Vegas is not given a proper farewell. And, apparently, said plan involves Josh Duhamel and Molly Simms walking through an episode of Knight Rider cradling a newborn baby! I. Kid. You. Not.

Yeah I just saw the article on their site. I would say the intro paragraph on the main page is very misleading. It made it look like they announced a reunion movie for the fall when really nothing new has been said. They do deserve a wrap up. It's a shame the producers didn't do it. I wish they would communicate before things like this happen. It sounds childish that they wrote the show with cliffhangers knowing the show might be over.

i think this would be a stupid idea....almost has dumb as silverman wanting to add an extra scene or two on to the season finale.

I don't think having Danny and Delinda magically appear on Knight Rider will add anything as far as closure for fans of the show. I do recall the pilot of KR used some of Las Vegas' sets.

Yea I don't think that's the way to go. I mean, I'm desperate for anything, but all this would mean is that the baby's fine. That's not all I wanna know. There's more to the show than just Danny & Delinda.

OMG, If that happens then 2 things: I will never watch a new KR episode and 2 I will outright ban [only] NBC all together and stick with the other networks.

I've wanted to say this for awhile now...

I wouldn't mind seeing a Las Vegas reunion, but only because I enjoyed the show. But with every thread I read about this show (and other ended shows like The Sopranos) I get the same thought... nothing is ever really wrapped up.

For example, if LV does a wrap-up show that shows D&D's baby being OK, and Mike and Piper live happily ever after, and Cooper buys an adjoining property to build a mega-resort, etc, etc, the next step is to wonder how D&D's baby grows up, how M&P maintains marital bliss, and so on. A reunion movie never really wraps up the show. On Growing Pains, it is fair to wonder how the family's individual members fared once Jason & Maggie moved to Washington.

The best thing to do in a case like this is to (A) enjoy the reruns on TNT and in your DVD collection, and (B) come to grips with the fact that Danny and Delinda and the baby were just TV charachters, and there never actually was a baby, and in real life there was no pregnancy complications.

i think when people say wrapped up i think they mean more of not leaving on a cliffhanger. think back to when friends went of the air, we knew monica and chandler were moving out of the city with the kids and ross and rachel were getting back together and phoebe and mike had just gotten married but i dont really think they made it clear what joey was doing, my point is that they told us where each memeber was going to do but nothing more. we as vegas fans dont need to know what happens 5 years down the road but rather what will happen in the near future. all they have to do is decide an ending on what happens to delinda and the baby as well as the battle between cooper and vic, i dont think they need to work on mike and piper or tell us if any romance will happen with cooper and delinda's mom.

What a sad & cheap way for a wrap up. Would just make me mad.

What ending on Knight Rider what a cheesy way:

Michael: Hey Kitt where did you drive me?

    Kitt: Las Vegas

    Danny knocks the window

Danny: Hey me and Delinda had a son. Sam is married and living happily ever after as is: Ed,Delinda,Mary,Nessa,AJ and Mike.

    Michael: Who was that?
