Actually I think it's Elvis feat. JXL with a little less conversation.

    Both songs are used.

Charlie Clouser - Let it ride

Elvis vs JXL - Little Less Conversation

"Let it ride" is used in most countries as theme, mainly because of legal issues with with the Elvis remix (as it seems not in the USA).

I don't know if Charlie Clouser is credited as interpreter, but at least he wrote that song (and the main theme of "Numb3rs" too) and he is an ex-member of Nine Inch Nails.

I've seen both versions and I personally prefer the "Little Less Conversation" version, it brings much more dynamic into the opening.

Actuallty, I think the American theme song is not the Junkie XL remix of Elvis' Little Less Conversation, but I think it's one of the "original" ones.

I bougth it also on DVD in the UK, an it has a longer version, with Let It Ride supporting it. Charlie Clouser is credited as composer, as performer some girl and maybe a band is credited, but I'm definately not sure about this.

It's really too bad that they couldn't get the rights for "Little Less Conversation" on the DVDs cuz I like that song much better than "Let it Ride".

I plan on catching up with Season 1 - 3 this summer so I can watch Season 4 in the fall. At least I will be able to hear the real theme song then.

It's definitely the JXL, although they did use the original Elvis version on the "throwback" episode (307: 'Everything Old Is You Again').

I have seen both versions of the Las Vegas Theme Song and the introductory sequence featuring both songs.  Although I love 'A little Less Conversation' by Elvis & JXL, I think I prefer Charlie Clouser's Let it Ride. Both are great theme choices but for me Let it Ride has more of an edge. I like that!!

I certainly like "Let It Ride" by Charlie Clouser but I like the song used during the Season One menu on the DVDs even more (at least on the Region 4, not sure if it's the same in other regions).

I understand it's also by Charlie Clouser but I'm not sure of the title... I think it's "Sin City".
