Finally! This time, I agreed a lot more with the judges' decision. Three out of the five people that they picked were very funny, and I was happy about that. I'm a big fan of Jon Reep, Lavell Hamilton, and Matt Kirshen. I didn't think the other two were really all that funny, but oh well. Adding to those three the one person who was actually funny from the first group (Dante) we have about four good contestants in the finals, in my opinion. I would've liked to see Mel Silverback get through...but I didn't think his set this time was as strong as it was in the auditions. I also would've loved to see the guy who did all the offensive jokes about his dad get through, but he didn't either.
All I know is next week's episode is gonna be awesome. Right when I saw Lavell eating the cucumbers from his facial, I about died laughing. He's hilarious. He does what that idiotic DiGiovanni girl tries to do, yet he actually succeeds. He doesn't do stupid jokes like "I know what you may be thinking. This woman has a cat. You would be right!" .....Waah waah waaaaaaaaah. He's also not annoying and over-bubbly, he's laid-back when he's not on stage, but hilarious when he is on stage.
As far as a favorite comedian goes, I don't know. I really like Jon Reep, because I saw a stand-up special that he had on Comedy Central, and he was hilarious...I don't know though. I guess we'll just wait and see the next couple episodes who's the best.moreless
