Last Comic Standing

This is the message Dat Phan posted on his website July 18, 2003: "I would like to take this moment to speak about what happened with Dave Mordal and me. So we had a show down. It's just part of the show. I still like him very much; As a matter of fact I am a big fan and actually have much respect for Dave. I think that he is one of the funniest guys in the house along with my personal favorite Rob Cantrell. It is in my opinion that Dave is funnier than me off stage. As you all can tell that I am quite serious off stage. It's just how our personalities happen to be off stage. As we all know, what is funny is depends on the opinion of the audience. Also please remember, 70% of both of our sets were edited out due to time. It might have been that it just wasn't Dave's night. Even some of the best baseball batters strike out in some games including myself. I suck at baseball, football, and basketball, but that's besides the point. =) It is very possible that Dave Mordal could have beaten me any other night. Besides it's just a T.V. Show for entertainment purposes only."
