Mike doesn't appreciate Ryan being back in town to spend Christmas with Kristin and Boyd, and when Kyle feels threatened as well, he asks Kristin a big question. Meanwhile, Mandy asks Ed for rights for her and her fellow elves at the store. I thought that this was an excellent Christmas episode of "Last Man Standing". A lot of parts in this Christmas episode really made me laugh very hard. My only nit-pick about this episode was that Nick Jonas guest starred in this episode as Ryan. Seriously" why does it have to be a Jonas Brother guest starring in this show. They could have gotten someone better and someone I actually like. Oh well, it's better than having Joe Jonas guest star... now if we was the guest star then that would've lowered my score. So yeah, Nick Jonas was actually decent as the Ryan character. The storyline was well done and the humor is top-notch. The parts that did make me laugh was Eve's line after Mike told the story about World War II and all that, Ed giving his employees free ham, Mandy wanting to set up some rights for the elves and reindeers and negotiated with Ed, Kyle asking Mike "Do you think I'm good-looking?" and then Mike responds "As your boss, it's not legal for me to answer that", Ed saying "Who is that adorable fella" (or something like that) then the little boy says "Me?" and then Ed says "No, I was talking about your mother", Kyle feeling threatened that Kristin will leave him for Ryan (Nick Jonas), Mike saying "Oh god" after seeing that Ryan came back to town and then those elderly women shushed Mike and then Mike responds "Halleluhah" (don't know if the spelling is right), and some more. Overall, if you need a good laugh then this Christmas episode of "Last Man Standing" is the one for you. 10/10moreless
  • Ryan is back in town, and Mike doesn't like it, while Kyle feels threatened.

This was the first episode of Last Man Standing I've watched. I'm glad Tim Allen is back in TV. The plot, before you even watch it, will quickly remind you of his other longtime running show, Home Improvement. Similar jobs, and three kids, except in this sitcom, they're all girls, contributing to the show's title. Anyway, in this episode, Mike doesn't like it when Boyd's father and Kristin's ex-boyfriend, returns to spend Christmas with them. Oh, and the guy is Nick Jonas. Not a fan of the Jonas Brothers, its so good to see a Jonas play a role in which they aren't being ran down by fans. Meanwhile, Kyle, Kristin's current boyfriend, feels threatened so he asks her to marry him. She denies, and they both agree on the decision. In the end, Mike finally shows his soft spot and allows for Ryan to eat dinner with them on Christmas. In the B plot, the empty-headed Mandy demands rights for a job she's only going to have a few days. She's one of Santa Ed's helpers at the store, and she wants for her and her coworkers to have some sort of break every hour like Santa is granted. Overall, I liked the episode and glad this show was picked up for an entire season. Tim Allen will make any plot work.moreless
