Mike is impressed when Mandy starts an Internet campaign to keep Ed's favorite barber shop alive. Meanwhile, Vanessa struggles to work a job and keep the house in order. I thought that this was an excellent episode of "Last Man Standing". Definitely one of the funniest and best episodes that I have ever seen from this show. You know, this show really did improve as it went on... when it first started out, it became pretty weak and I found the daughters and Vanessa (mother and wife) UNlikeable but now I love all of the characters and they were very funny. Ed (Hector Elizondo) continues to offer good laughs as well. I really loved this Mandy storyline and it's probably my favorite Mandy storyline in this show so far. There were a lot of parts that really made me laugh but one of the parts that was sure hilarious was when Vanessa was talking to Eve because she was sad and then when Eve was talking about the guy... Vanessa says "Honey..well, he isss.... oh well he's a dumb@$$". The storyline was well thought out and a lot of excellent humor to enjoy. Overall, "Last Man Standing" has been improving and it gets funnier especially from an enjoyable cast and I loved this episode... totally worth watching. 10/10moreless
  • Mandy finds a "passion" and Vanessa is exhausted.

    9.0
Mandy tries to keep Ed's favorite barber shop alive with an Internet campaign at a website her and her friends visit often. It works, and in a matter of days the place is filled with a crowd, and Mike is impressed. But Ed is more upset than ever. It's the wrong crowd, a bunch of teenagers! Or, hippies, as Ed refers to them as. Ed is furious, but when Mike tells him what Mandy had done and that she was only trying to help, he can only thank her, which is what he does with some "undrinkable" wine. In the subplot, Vanessa has been exhausted at work by keeping up with her job and the household. It comes to a point where she falls asleep and plunges to the ground at work. When she has realized what had happened, she fakes a heart attack. So Mike finally gets to help around the house after he had offered many times. Vanessa feels replaced momentarily before she talks to Eve when she is disappointed that a boy she likes asks her who he should take to a dance. Overall a good episode, and looking forward to perhaps seeing more Eve storylines.moreless
