Eva Longoria, Fred Willard, Lily Allen. Comedy bits included Max's Message to Britney Spears, dolphins fighting terror, actors playing multiple roles, neuroscience journal findings, a commercial from the new Late Night sponsor, "SpongeBob Malt Liquor" and "The Interrupter" joins Conan and Fred Willard.
Conan mentioned at the top of the show that Britney Spears has been spotted throughout New York City doing hosts of less-than acceptable behavior. Max agrees and begins a series of heart-felt remarks aimed at Britney, criticizing her for being in New York and not exposing her lack of underwear to the world, as she has in L.A.
A recent article cited the U.S. Navy is employing the use of dolphins to help fight terrorism. Conan thought it was worth noting that at Late Night they have used marine animals for security for a long time. He continues and shows an example of a whale screening audience members entering the studio.
In the box office, Eddie Murphy's film, "Norbit" has taken the top spot this week and Conan notes his acting ability for playing multiple roles in the same film. Announcer, Joel Goddard interrupts saying he sees this as nothing spectacular and that he will soon be playing multiple roles on the show including, Moongazer the Hippie cameraman, Moses Zigelman the Late Night accountant, Jeff Rutherford the Late Night tennis pro and Auntie Sassafras.
As a subscriber to the Journal of Neurosciene, Conan reveals that a recent study published in the periodical suggests a connection between male sweat and female arousal. He feels this is good news for bachelor Pierre Bernard. Conan continues saying that Pierre rarely works up a sweat because he sits in front of a computer all day. A stationary bicycle is brought out for Pierre to ride on and work up a sweat in an attempt to attract a woman he is interested in. Instead, the woman leaves with the sweaty man who brought out the bike.
A new Late Night sponsor's ad for SpongeBob Malt Liquor, was featured in tonight's show. Described in the ad as a "smooth, mellow malt liquor with a kick like a pissed off mule" and claims to be the cause of the cartoon character's cheerfulness and humor. The commercial then suggests the viewer steal some money and buy the product saying "Betcha can't finish two!"
After the interview with Fred Willard, Conan and his guest are cleverly interrupted by none other than "The Interrupter" - a flashy man with long hair and a cape who interrupts and finishes Conan's - and Willard's - thoughts. They attempt dialogue with "The Interrupter" and in a short time, Fred Willard sees some common ground in Korean pornography. Willard then agree to meet up at an abandoned laundry mat after the show.
