Samuel L. Jackson, Maura Tierney, Tegan & Sara. Comedy bits included "Actual Items," Behind the Scenes of Late Night's office rennovations and audience member Eyeballs O'Shaughnessy distracts Conan.
A staple of Late Night television, the "Actual Items" segment displayed various newspaper and magazine clippings and advertisements with hilarious mistakes or funny errors. Conan's explanation of the humorous ads is simply that "you can't make this stuff up."
Conan explained that the Late Night offices were being rennovated and that everyone who works there had to clean out and move. In a "Behind the Scenes" segment, he talked to several of his co-workers as they packed up and then cut to three weeks later after all the demoltion was complete. The floor was mostly just a shell of a building, except for one office that remained with staffer Andy still talking on the phone.
After the interview with Samuel L. Jackson, Conan mentioned an audience member has been distracting him all night. Eyeballs O'Shaughnessy was looking in Max's direction and Max offers him a distrubing signed picture. Eyeballs was disappointed and threatened to leave when the staff "doctor" came in and gave him something to enjoy the rest of the show.
