A enjoyable episode with Goren/Eames this week. The acting was good and there was a lot of trickery involved all the way around. The poker game at the beginning where Josh lost was interesting. He was confident he was winning but later we learn he was being manipulated even then.
The whole episode kept you guessing about who was playing whom. Josh was playing everyone from the DA to Sweets, Lou, Goren and Eames, etc.. Angela (Sweets) was playing Lou and Josh. Kip was playing his wife who was totally unaware of his second life until he was murdered. Lou of course was playing both Josh and Sweets. It really shows you what a bad influence gambling can be. Personally I have seen it ruin a number of peoples lives. Some people recover and some never do.
I like Captain Ross' line at the end, "It's time to force his hand" when speaking about Josh and the game Goren and Eames knew he was playing. It just goes to show you, never play a mind game with Goren. He may have tells but in the end he'll get you. Thanks for reading...moreless
