  • A ravishing male model finds the price of fame, and opportunity lost drives a murderer to murder.

Good characters in the episode, but I felt there were too many and I found it hard to keep track of who was who and who was doing what with whom, or to whom or, well, you get the idea. I think the similarity in appearance between Duke's wife and the other girl made it more confusing. Eames and Goren were up to their usual teamwork, with Goren being the Alpha Dog detective. Certainly a Hollywood view of jet-set and uber-rich people, not particularly a crowd I would hang with, even if I had that sort of money. Seems to be a world full of the cheaters and the cheated, with a murder or two thrown in for good measure. An OK episode, but not one of the best ones.
  • A top male model is killed and Goren and Eames are called in to investigate. There are numerous suspects including the ex-wife who removed evidence from the crime scene before the police were called.

Very interesting case in which they would never have caught the killer except for a little deception and the bruised ego of the killer.

Goren is getting a little cocky in that he is even calling the cause of death before the ME has a chance to do the autopsy. Leslie Hendrix who plays the ME, Dr. Elizabeth Rodgers was pretty funny about it this week.

Man what a tangle web we weave. Who wasn't sleeping with whomever else. I think by the time we were through almost everyone coped to sleeping with one or more of the suspects between them all. I guess what the big difference between the male model Hamp Trotter and Duke Degarel was that Hamp didn't have to pay people to say he was the best. They just volunteered it whether it was Hamp's ex-wife Amy, Gala, or Duke's wife. No matter what Duke was always second best.

I loved how they ended the episode with Goren pushing all the right buttons. It is always fun when someone with money who thinks he's untouchable because of that is brought down to size for doing things it would be illegal for anyone else to do.

A pretty nice finish to a pretty interesting episode. I'm looking forward to what will be at least the summers final episode next week. I wonder if they will have at least the same number of episodes in the eighth season they usually have? Thanks for reading...
