    You're talking about "Blind Spot?"

Sebastian on the show was a serial killer but for the ep, his methods were used by a copycat killer (Jo).  In 'real' life, if you mean in the non-tv world...I have no idea if he exists but considering L&O sometimes rips stories from headlines I wouldn't be surprised.

In Blind Spot, there was a character named Declan (not sure of spelling) who investigated a serial killer named Sebastian. Deakins was the name of the previous police Captain.

Could really use some help trying to identify an episode.  I recall (correctly, I hope) a scene in which Goren is in an office where is laying out all the photos of a crime scene.  When Deakins and or Eames walk in they basically see the majority of the room.  (I don't believe this is episode in which he notices that the carpeting had been vacuumed in a manner that the person doing so had exited the room backwards as they were vacuuming.)

Does anyone recall which episode this might be in?

wait... it's NOT the episode with the vacuuming marks? I'm confused. "The Good Child" has a big photo scene of the room too.

    Sorry about the double post!

Badge or The Good Child....I'll have to see both.  Again, if I recall correctly, his photos weren't just laid out on the floor but also up on white board, etc.

I want to thank you for posting and giving me some ideas what I need to watch again!

    Thank you!

What about Jones (season 1 about the lawyer who kills off all his mistresses) when he interviews one of the 'hostesses' (a friend/co-worker of the first murder victim), taking her on the dance floor so she won't get into trouble with her boss for not working?

It's always fun to watch him dance.. I wish I had a fraction of the grace and ability he does. I wasn't just born with two left feet, I also have no rhythm, grace or agility when it comes to the dance floor. I just look like some dying animal that needs to be put out of it's misery...

No, it's been mentioned a couple times. My only problem with Prisoner is that you only see him for a few seconds. He needs to dance longer in that one. ;o)
