  • Aphasia at its worst

    1.0
In the first 10 minutes of this Criminal Intent episode, Jeff Goldblum's character doesn't manage to mutter more than two word sentences. I'm thinking he was trying for edgy but unfortunately, his delivery was more aphasic than anything. Why doesn't USA just give it up and bury this dead franchise? It was dying long before Goren & Eames left. Once the "characters only" network took over the storyline, the shows stopped being about the plot and instead insisted that the characters wear their inner most secrets on their sleeves -- no mystery what so ever. This season is truly a showcase about making something out of nothing in that it combines poor plots with abysmal scripts all wrapped around terrible acting. SyFy's Jurassic Park rerun that played against a repeat of this episode was more entertaining. At least in that show Goldblum could string more than two words together.moreless
