  • A seriously disturbed young woman goes to incredible lengths to please her serial killer boyfriend.

It's an odd episode. Not my favourite, but pretty good all the same. The acting is good, especially from the neurotic girlfriend/doctor who has impulses she can't control.

it's good that the episode takes a kind of obvious storyline and turns it around so that it becomes something even more grotesque than merely copying an earlier crime, and an extra perpetrator comes into view.

I think it suffers from the 'rage' and 'lesion' stuff, which is perhaps a little far fetched (though it may not be at all in the real world!) Most of the characters are convincing, even if their motives take a little swallowing.

Amazing that a woman with neurotic even paranoid behaviours and a preference for sexual activity that literally whips her into a frenzy can hold down a job as a respected clinical researcher, whilst hiding her relationship with a convicted serial killer and managing to overcome her own aversion to killing in order to protect him. Ah well, such is life!
