  • Could have been better.

    6.9
This just was not exciting enough. They really could have done some interesting things with this story but it all just turned out rather.... ok.

There was just nothing special to make it stand out against the other episodes & I think that is a shame. It all just seemed a little too pat for me.
  • Boring boring boring

    5.5
This was so painful to watch. You didn't care why they committed the murders and who was behind it. The airline employee was boring, his cousin was boring, and the reason behind the murders was boring. This has got to be the worst year for the show. Even the hint of Nicole Wallace is not enough to bring this show out of the dumpster.
  • One psycho cousin beats up prostitutes while the other psycho cousin he bullied watches. Then they place the women's bodies in airplane wheel wells to dispose of over water.

    2.2
Awful. Maybe the worst of any L&O series show ever. Certainly nothing as atrociously gruesome yet incredibly boring has popped up before that I know of.

The show moved at a snail's pace, as if there were not enough lines to fill up an hour..so add a few more commericals before embarrassing yourselves to this extent.

Noth was catatonic and Sciorra comatose. Their combined energy couldn't fuel a lightbulb..probably they took one gander at the script and decided their best bet was narcolepsy.

This show may well have jumped the shark.

  • Started strong, but ended poorly.

    9.0
A great episode. Though not as good to watch as Emes and Goran, Barek and Logan do put up good performances. Their own traits and strengths do come across in each episode they make, esp. this one.

Loved the creativity of this storyline. Shame they couldnt recreate more of the sadistic nature of both of the villians, to take away any jot of compassion I felt for the bullied one, which I still felt at the end. They should have made him come across as more uncaring.

As it was, the build was quite intense until the final showdown which just didnt have the usual spark that Goren brings to the confrontation of the perp(s).

    Well worth watching.moreless
  • Clever. Though not the most exciting Law and Order episode, it definitely was interesting. It just goes to show what can happen when you treat people you are supposed to love like an animal.moreless

    8.3
Interesting and strange turn of events.

An unstable boy with a bullying brother and negligent and idiot father.

It was fun to watch Barek use her wits to sort of sexually harrass the suspect.

She put some hurting on him, too. She pretended to be interested, and then called him \'anatomy-less, like his artwork\'.

And as for the brother, you can\'t expect anyone to have faith in you if you beat them bloody.

This episode shed some light on family relationships, and how one year of your life can ruin everything for you.

I loved the cartoon that boy made. Talent to make such a thing.

    But it was very disturbing.

The lifeless stick figure grabs his rifle and fires it into his parents, his brother, and then the cops in their cop car. and then he eats his gun.

    Delightfully chilling.moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Nitpick: When Logan mentions Keflavik airport in Iceland, he mispronounces it with the accent on the second syllable (kef la' vik). The correct pronunciation is with the accent on the first syllable (kef' la vik).

    • Mike Logan's father was a Naval aviator who flew Corsairs off the aircraft carrier Antietam during the Korean War.

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Carolyn Barek: Art could have run, but he came back to help his cousin.
James Deakins: Yeah, that'd be touching… if they weren't serial killers.

    • (Discussing a victim found wearing a Folbe garment.)
Carolyn Barek: What's that on her labia?
Dr. Elizabeth Rodgers: Looks like a piercing for a stud.
Carolyn Barek: Folbe are Muslims. A Folbe woman wouldn't have genital piercings.
Dr. Elizabeth Rodgers: Nice to know some parts of the world are still civilized.

    • Carolyn Barek: How do you know all that aeronautical lore? Date a stewardess?

    • James Deakins: Upstairs bought it.
Mike Logan: Great, 'cause it's raining hookers.

    • (After seeing the animation on the laptop.)
Mike Logan: Hey, it's not half bad for a cartoon.

    • Carolyn Barek: If Art's dad knew what bullying his son would lead to, might've thought twice about it.
Mike Logan: You ever wonder why I don't have kids? Now you know.

    • Mike Logan: We like to have a bake-off between two accomplices. The first one to roll gets the best deal.
