Fin's investigation into three little girl's deaths takes him into the world of immigration, anchor babies, a grassroots opposition movement, a TV talk show host who fans the hatred, and an immigration rights attorney who is somehow tied up in everything.moreless
  • Ice-T's terrible acting overshadowed a very interesting, important and prevelent issue.

Well I thought that this COULD have been an amazing episode. It had everything: a compelling storyline, an issue that is prevelent almost everywhere in north america, it had a good court scene, and emotions. What ruined it was the fact that it was a Fin episode and we got to marvel in Ice-T's less than sub-par acting skills.

I wish that instead of Fin being the detective, it could have been anybody else. Sometimes it feels like they just give Fin an episode centred around him because it's in Ice-T's contract or something ... i don't know, it was a waste of a very good storyline, in my opinion.moreless
  • Poor Episode

    "Poor"
I agree with most when I say this episode was very poorly written. There have been a few fin episodes better than this and more emotionally invested. But I believe most people are rating this episode very poorly because the episodes blasts conservatism as it blasts o'riley and limbaugh. The reviews that gave a bad review are very biased. I didn't base this episode on the political direction but the plot, the real substance of the episode. This episode like i said was poorly written, and it don't seem to follow the pace of other regular law & order SVU episodes. The fact that Cabot lost this particular case was ludicrous and the ending was left to be admired. I gave this a fair unbaised score of 4/10.moreless
  • Worst SVU episode in memory.

    "Abysmal"
It pains me to write that this episode was the worst SVU episode I can remember, as I have always been a big fan of this show. There are certain allowances I always give Law and Order in general, such as the occasional recycling of themes, the odd poor acting performance, etc. Even legal outcomes that would be unlikely in the real world are often forgivable because the dramatic tension leading up to the verdict, and the valid points made along the way, make them worth watching. But this was just silly. Really, really silly. Too bad too, because the notion of racism and ultra-conservative fanaticism as a form of mental illness is interesting, but this episode never came close to taking a serious look at the possibility.moreless
  • This episode was about immigration, they used extremes on both sides of the issue to apparently try to make a point. "the act of entering this country illegal is a law that can be and should be broken". enforce that law and you are a bigot and a racist.moreless

This was one of the worst SVU episodes for the sake of political garbage. they had no facts, but lots of propaganda, miss information and slanted facts very disappointing. stick to the show not politics please. this show can be pretty good even if i disagree with the point of views sometimes they at least have good writers and the appearance of both sides of the story this episode was a soap box and very poorly done at that who ever wrote this one needs to take a deep breath and objectively look at the facts not just what some one told them was going on... very disappointing. NBC is killing of :CI next year maybe they are looking to do the same with :SVUmoreless
  • This is the worst episode of SVU to date. I'm a loyal SVU fan and I hope the next episode is better.

SVU usually represents a range of political views but this episode failed to do that. Elliott and Olivia were barely even in the episode. I think I saw Olivia for 15 seconds and I don't even remember seeing Elliot. They should have used Elliot or Munch to provide the alternate viewpoint that Glenn Beck and O'Reilly do not promote or encourage his viewers to kill others. The guy who criticized O'Reilly was the only voice of reason in the episode.moreless
