I am always hesitant to say anything bad about one of my favorite shows but I have to be honest. What it comes down to is that I honestly felt disappointed by "Avatar". Coming off an excellent season premiere, they needed a strong second episode but didn't manage to pull it off. That's just my opinion.

The first case of rape was the most intriguing part of the show. The suspect was found innocent because of a sleep disorder. That would have made for a good episode. Too bad they didn't stretch that out for the episode. The case of the missing woman was interesting at first, but the more the detectives uncovered, the less I was interested. By the end I didn't care if they got the guy and I didn't care about the victims. The suspect, by the way, was an old creep. I couldn't believe it when he told the first "kidnapped victim" that she was too old. He had to be older than her by 40 or more years. I actually laughed at that part. I didn't like how they located his cabin. That entire sequence was ridiculous to me. I don't expect these shows to always be realistic but they really pushed it here, in my opinion.

I know the show can't always be perfect so let's move on. I'm looking forward to next week's episode.
