A single murder suddenly turns into a scene with three bodies, leaving Benson and Stabler to work with a strip club owner to find a murderer whose motive may be more about righteousness than perversity.

I can't believe that an episode of this series could be this boring. To her credit, Carol Burnett gives a very good perforance in this turkey of a story. After a good beginning the story drags, and drags and drags. Way too much info on the personal lives of her character and her "nephew". Eliot and Olivia act like they're just going through the motions, like this is just another day at the office, just another case. Maybe the two actors knew this episode was a stinker and they just went along for the ride. Even the small twist at the end could not save this one. But I guess even a series as good as this one normally is must have its occasional valley to go along with its many peaks. I expected better from the SVU writers; hopefully they will do better with the next one.moreless

    • Birdie Sulloway: Can I ask you something? Dr George Huang: Of course. Birdie Sulloway: What do you think happens when this old circus folds its tents and … and moves on? Is there another town on the other side, or is it all just a lot of nothing? Dr. George Huang: Those kinds of questions aren't exactly my specialty.

    • Chet: Why? Why? Birdie: 30 years at your Aunt Birdie's side and you never learn not to cross her. (pauses) We all do what we have to.
