Outside of a nice twist ending featuring a highly unlikely person being revealed as the true killer, this was yet another average episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. This season started off with a lot of promise, but since then it has really started to go downhill in quality and the ratings.

As I mentioned, having an elderly lady be revealed as the killer was a great surprise that no one saw coming, but the case just never really got me excited. I was more excited watching the documentary about beef than I was the actual content of the episode.moreless

Kind of good, kind of annoying!

Some elements of the episode was good. And I loved the part where Stabler bought the beef taco (that was hilarious). However I kind of felt like they were trying to make every viewer a vegetarian. I dont know, some parts just annoyed me. I think this was a massive filler episode. I think the writers turned vegetarian the week of writing this episode and decided they would tempt to turn the whole world against meat. Maybe its just me, I dont know! Anyway, like I said, the story of trying to find the killer was good but I still thought the whole beef thing was over done!moreless

In this episode of SVU, the following happens. When a young woman is found raped and murdered, the SVU team are called in to investigate. What first seems to be a straight forward case, turns out not to be. The team have a suspect but DNA clears him. Then they match the DNA from the rape to another suspect, but Warner finds evidence that clears him. Then we learn that the 2nd suspect has been framed, but by who? We learn that the victim was working undercover in a meat packing factory and was videotaping evidence. Soon the man who runs the factory confesses to murder. Only the team prove he didn't kill her, but he did frame the 2nd suspect. It is then that they learn it was the little old lady who owns the company who killed the victim. Proving once again, that even the old can kill.moreless
