  • Trivia

    • Goof: Every time they show the board of the pictures they are in slightly different places. Some of the pictures shown are clearly not of actual people.

    • Goof: When they show the strangulation pattern, first it is straight on either side but when Huang demonstrates it later to the picture it is slanted downwards.

  • Quotes

    • Casey Novak: (following Judge Terhune into his house) I just need Your Honor's signature.
Judge Ritenour: You just hit the jackpot, dearie.
Casey Novak: (finds a bunch of the regular judges playing cards) Good evening Judge Ritenour, Judge Petrovski, Judge Wiler, Judge Bradley… I've had this nightmare before, only I was naked.

    • Dr. George Huang: The way she used the rope, she hates her brother, but she's bound to him.

    • Dr. Matt Spevak: I started this foundation to give something back.
Olivia Benson: Well, you gave these women back to God. Does that count?

    • (Benson and Stabler in doorway of the interrogation room.)
Olivia Benson: Elliot, leave her alone.
Elliot Stabler: (Turns to speak to Olivia) Shut up! You know what the problem is? Women shouldn't be cops, they shouldn't be doctors, they're too weak and stupid.

    • (Looking at tombstone.)
Olivia Benson: What kind of family engraves the name of their kids into their headstone before they die?
Elliot Stabler: A really close one.

    • Ben Pawler: Donna has a lot of dough, definitely sweetens the pot.
Elliot Stabler: Had a lot of dough, ass-wipe. Donna was murdered last night.
Ben Pawler: She was fine when I left her. No, take that back. She was satisfied.

    • Dr. George Huang: (hands Stabler a piece of rope) Strangle me.
Elliot Stabler: (grins and takes the rope) I'll try.
Dr. George Huang: (takes back the rope) I'll hold the rope.

    • Judge Terhune: What is so important that it couldn't wait until morning?
      Casey Novak: An exhumation order.
Judge Wyler: You better sign it, Joe. The corpse might be a flight risk.

    • John Munch: (after learning Spevak is drowning in gambling debts while searching his apartment) Answering machine's blinking.
Fin Tutuola: Probably a collection agency.
      (Munch plays the tape)
Man's Voice: (angry, with heavy gangster accent) Yo, Spevak, ya' late again. You betta pay up, Doc, or we're comin' over!
Fin Tutuola: Doesn't sound like Mastercard.

    • Judge: I hope you have a good reason why I should disrupt the sanctity of the dead.
Casey Novak: I have a convincing but lengthy argument that would disrupt the sanctity of your poker game.

    • (Nurse Spevak is confessing to murders she committed in nursing school.)
      Olivia Benson: How many?
      Emma Spevak: Dozens of them.
Olivia Benson: Do you remember any of their names?
Emma Spevak: They were all called "Mama."
