  • Ah, it was okay.

    4.1
It was okay...like I said. It wasn't the greatest episode...of course, they just HAD to separate Olivia and Elliot AGAIN, didn't they? The Producers seem to love agonizing me. They never show Olivia or Munch anymore! Personally, I think it's Munch that makes a lot of the episodes even better.
  • Good episode

    9.1
I thought it was a good episode. It wasn't a show about the the cops feelings, except for the short time Elliot was talking about himself being ridiculed by his friends. . Although, I was wondering why Olivia wasn't working the case with Elliot. But, I like Fin to be in the show more anyway. Maybe they are phasing Olivia out since she is pregnant.

Who played the part of the Football player??He looked familiar.moreless
  • Not your typical SVU episode.

    9.1
This wasn't your typical SVU episode. Yes, a girl was murdered and dumped where prostitutes roam, but she wasnt sexually assaulted and killed. This episode dealt with gambling and what it does to a person. Again, the writers only have Olivia in the episode probably a total of 5 minutes. I mean come on, she started the case with Elliot, and then Fin took over. They showed her again later telling Elliot about some evidence he had her dig up. I like Fin & Munch, but Elliot & Olivia is the show.moreless
  • The episode was bad and the plot was even worse

    1.2
What is wrong with tv today? Every single show that I watch is turning from bad to crap......no wonder reality tv is taking over.

Anyway, we had to sit through another boring story of Stabler's life growing up, which inevitable made him the miserable man that he is today.

The episode was bad and the plot was even worse.
  • COME ON!!! I thought this episode was one of the best of Season 7

    9.9
I know that Season 7 is really bad, but this episode was actually really cool. What I really liked about this episode is where they find Caroline Pereira's body two nights ago. A girl with the big bucks killed by her childhood friend Adam Halder, and Stabler and Fin find two suspects Gloria Colhane who both think she killed Caroline and Pro-Football player Roddy Franklin who also both knew he lied to them abot saying he didn't knew Caroline and both Stabler and Fin found out on tape that her and Roddy were playing poker at Alantic City. Next, I also get to see Stabler talk about his personal life with Novak and Huang about the two jerk jumping him and spiting in his face. Which I also thought it was very interesting.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Casey: I waited tables in law school and served my classmates. It sucked but it didn't make me kill anyone.

    • (Stabler and Fin go into Gloria's class to arrest her.)
Fin Tutuola: Sorry for interrupting. Stay in school.

    • (Speaking with Gloria Culhane, referencing the diamond ring she had stolen from her dead roommate.)
Elliot Stabler: They don't allow diamond rings in prison. I think you'll have to settle for silver bracelets.

    • (A man solicits a prostitute from his car.)
      Vegas: My name is Vegas.
Man: I've never done this before.
Vegas: Don't worry baby. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

  • NOTES (3)

  • ALLUSIONS (4)

    • This episode appears to be ripped from the headlines of the Elizabeth Paige Laurie cheating scandal. Laurie, the granddaughter of Wal-Mart co-founder Bud Walton, was accused by her University of Southern California roommate of serial cheating to gain her communications degree in a November 2004 episode of 20/20. The roommate, Elena Martinez, claimed Laurie had paid her $20,000 over three and a half years to do her homework. Laurie later returned her degree to USC, and a basketball arena at the University of Missouri, donated by her parents, was named the Mizzou Arena rather than the Paige Sports Arena.

    • Fin Tutuola: All the gin joints in this city, we had to walk into yours.
A play on words of the dialogue from 1942 Michael Curtiz film Casablanca starring Humphrey Bogart. In which Bogart's character Rick says, "Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine."

    • Fin Tutuola: His wife caught him, and he had to buy her a diamond necklace that cost more than an aircraft carrier.
A celebrity buying his wife an extravagant item of jewelry after an indiscretion is a possible reference to Kobe Bryant. He was accused of rape, which he denied, but he admitted to having consensual sex with the accuser. Shortly afterward, he bought his wife Vanessa an extremely expensive ring.

    • Female Student: I'm pre-med, I don't have time to read The Faerie Queene.

The Faerie Queene is a 16th-century epic poem by Edmund Spenser. It is required reading in many university English courses.
