There is a sticker inside Stabler's locker that says 'Bad Cop - No Donut'.
Casey: I waited tables in law school and served my classmates. It sucked but it didn't make me kill anyone.
(Stabler and Fin go into Gloria's class to arrest her.)
Fin Tutuola: Sorry for interrupting. Stay in school.
(Speaking with Gloria Culhane, referencing the diamond ring she had stolen from her dead roommate.)
Elliot Stabler: They don't allow diamond rings in prison. I think you'll have to settle for silver bracelets.
(A man solicits a prostitute from his car.)
Vegas: My name is Vegas.
Man: I've never done this before.
Vegas: Don't worry baby. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

This episode appears to be ripped from the headlines of the Elizabeth Paige Laurie cheating scandal. Laurie, the granddaughter of Wal-Mart co-founder Bud Walton, was accused by her University of Southern California roommate of serial cheating to gain her communications degree in a November 2004 episode of 20/20. The roommate, Elena Martinez, claimed Laurie had paid her $20,000 over three and a half years to do her homework. Laurie later returned her degree to USC, and a basketball arena at the University of Missouri, donated by her parents, was named the Mizzou Arena rather than the Paige Sports Arena.
Fin Tutuola: All the gin joints in this city, we had to walk into yours.
A play of words of the quote from the famous Humphrey Bogart film Casablanca.
Fin Tutuola: His wife caught him, and he had to buy her a diamond necklace that cost more than an aircraft carrier.
A celebrity buying his wife an extravagant item of jewelry after an indiscretion is a possible reference to Kobe Bryant. He was accused of rape, which he denied, but he admitted to having consensual sex with the accuser. Shortly afterward, he bought his wife Vanessa an extremely expensive ring.
Female Student: I'm pre-med, I don't have time to read The Faerie Queene.
The Faerie Queene is a 16th-century epic poem by Edmund Spenser. It is required reading in many university English courses.
