A rapist, in which the cops investigated several months ago is at it again, and one of his victims is seeking justice. A rape is reported thanks to a witness, and it turns out to be recent victim, Harper Anderson. She knows that Kenneth Cleary raped his latest victim. The detectives keep their eye on Cleary while keeping Harper outta trouble. They discover he's suspected of three other rapes during a business trip in Philly. As a result, Kenny is arrested and is arraigned. And guess who's there, Harper and his wife. His wife received a necklace as a gift, but didn't know it was stolen from one of his victims.

ADA Cabot does whatever she can to put the man in jail. But, she gets chastised for coercing the wife. Then, Kenny is shot dead by his wife. Did Harper had something to do with it?

This was a good episode. It shows that monster who got away with it, but it comes back to him. And, it's bold. This is traditional 'Law & Order' here. This goes to the original format. Justice is served.moreless
  • Law and Order Special Victims Unit!

This is the sequal episode to Closure Part 1. Kenneth Cleary is at it again. Raping women while asking them "Is this how you like it?" But this time his activities have left Manhattan, and the detectives find three other victims in Philadelphia. And his former victim, Harper Anderson is stalking him. The Detectives of the Special Victims Unit are finally able to pin the rapes on Kenneth when his wife realizes that the jewelery her husband gives her used to belong to his victims. Cleary is not conviced however, because of the emotional testimony of his wife, which cause the judge to call a mistrial. But he finally gets what is coming to him when he is shot by his wife, with the help of Harper Anderson.

Another great episode of Special Victims Unit! This is why I love this show so much!moreless
  • the conclusion of the first one but it takes a little later than usual a two parter that doesnt happen right away. a rapist who gets by the first time but we can see in this one he won't get by again. what a way to go and be dead.moreless

a two parter that doesnt happen the next night. we see what happens to the rapist. he got what he deserved and his wife helps. we clearly can see what a rapist does to the victim and it is a very bad crime that the perps should pay big time. we have had a great time.
  • Nice to wrap this storyline up.

I remembered this guy from "Closure 1". I was disgusted with his cavalier attitude and lack of remorse then, and it just got worse in this follow-up episode. It was great to see such strong and well-played actors in high profile roles. The woman who was raped in the first "Closure" is back and has gone very street tough and angry. She now has a personal vendetta against her rapist and has taken to stalking to him with a pistol at her side. The wife of the rapist, at first in denial, has finally seen the light and tries to help, only to be a hindrance in the end for Alex as she tries to prosecute. This was a great episode with some great exchanges between Olivia, Elliot, and the original victim. The opening scene in particular was excellent. After being raped, the man's latest victim who appears to have OCD keeps cleaning furiously. Once she settles down, she refuses to leave Olivia's side. Very emotional and brilliantly done.moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Goof: When the detectives are trying to connect Cleary's Philadelphia trips with rapes, one of the dates is September 15th. At the trial, Cabot refers to one of the rapes taking place on September 5th (which coincides with the witness remembering Sept. 6th, but doesn't overlap with Cleary's business trip in Philly).

    • Goof: A .50 caliber Desert Eagle pistol weighs nearly 70 ounces, not 40, and as manufactured by Magnum Research, its clip holds only seven rounds, not eight.

  • QUOTES (6)

    • (Talking about a rapist that has struck again.)
Donald Cragen: We couldn't keep him. Not our fault.
Elliot Stabler: Want to tell the victim that?

    • Harper Anderson: (speaking of her rapist) He is the last thing I'm afraid of. If I can get over that, I will have my life back completely.

    • Donald Cragen: You move slow. We go after Cleary off this, he'll be out the door.
Elliot Stabler: But not too slow.
Donald Cragen: Well, move slow as fast as you can.

    • Olivia Benson: Harper's taking control of her own life.
      Elliot Stabler: Oh, please.

    • Harper Anderson: You're going to burn in Hell.
Mr. Klein: I'm Jewish, Miss Anderson. There is no Hell.

    • Cleary: What's the agenda here, gentlemen? You trying to make me crazy?
Fin Tutuola: Hell, no. Way too late for that.
      Cleary: And you are...?
Fin Tutuola: The knot in the pit of your stomach.
