Thursday 10:00 PM on NBC

Actress Gayatri Bahl is set to appear in the upcoming Law & Order: SVU episode titled, “Decaying Morality.”

Airing on February 4th, the storyline follows Benson and Rollins dealing with the fallout after a rape suspect is released over a lack of evidence and the rape victim's father takes justice into his own hands.

I recently had a chance to interview Gayatri who dished about her experience working on the long-running show and more.

Q: What can you tell us about your appearance on NBC’s “Law & Order: SVU”?

GB: I play the wife of the prominent dentist, Dr. Neil Alexander, played by Paul Adelstein (Scandal, Private Practice), who gets caught-up in the investigation.

Q: How was it working on such a fan-favorite show?

GB: It was amazing. The cast and crew of SVU are all incredibly very welcoming. They've been doing this a long time and they know how to make a newcomer feel welcome :)

Q: Anything surprise you about the show or your fellow cast mates?

GB: Hmm. I found it very interesting how passionate the unit is about the show. The show has been on air for 16 years, but they are just as excited about a new episode coming out as the rest of us!

Q: Any chance your character might be back again?

GB: Well…Jiya doesn't get arrested in the show. I definitely think there are more layers that could be explored. So…you never know. Fingers Crossed!

Q: What’s the biggest lesson you took away from the opportunity?

GB: Stay Passionate. Stay Committed. No Matter how long you've been in the biz. SVU is a testament to that.

Q: What else is coming up for you in the near future?

GB: You'll see me next in Martin Scorsese's “Untitled HBO / Rock N' Roll Project” and in the original comedic web series, “Just My Luck” which I’ve co-produced and star in.
