Wow, an extremely powerful episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit tonight, that had me close to tears at two points, and I am not ashamed to admit that. Just a gripping story about pain and overcoming it, and they did a good job of making the rapist into a scumbag without trying too hard.

This was definitely one of the best episodes of the season and one that should earn this show some more respect. Just a great stoy from top to bottom.

On a side note, Jeri Ryan appears to be everywhere as of late. She's been on Leverage, Psych and Law and Order: SVU all in a matter of weeks. Not too shabby.moreless
  • The detectives are called in to investigate when Cara Benson (Lisa Arrindell Anderson), a disabled opera singer with multiple sclerosis who cannot speak, is found by her bus driver after she is not at the bus stop, beaten and raped in her home.moreless

This episode was ridiculous. The whole plot was unbelievable, and unrealistic. This episode tried to pull on my heart strings but it couldn't because it was so absurd. The whole thing was just ridiculous. There is no other word for it. The MS suspect, raped, and won't admit. Her sister beats her out of jealously. The positive thing that I can say about this episode is Jill Scott's performance. I thought it was very good, and compelling. Showing the anger and jealously of younger less successful sister. Quentin Aaron's performance wasn't half bad. The whole episode was pretty mediocre. I have a question where's munch?moreless
