  • Bad Rich Girl or Son of Sam Clone?

Benson and Stabler investigate the murder of some salesman, who was wearing no pants. They track down this girl, Stephanie Mulroney, who happens to be the daughter of some political family with connections. Turns out she knew the victim since college and lied about what happened that night. And, as a result she gets locked up on charges for murder. Then, a similar shooting occurs when the victims date tells the cops a man with Buddy Holly glasses was the shooter. Benson and Stabler get in contact with Det. Briscoe and Det. Greene from the 27th that there was a similar case a few years back. Then, both squads founded, and apprehend their shooter, Arthur Pruitt. Pruitt confessed , but Munch suspects that one of the victims was beaten before he died coming to the conclusion that Mulroney killed him. Conspiracy or truth?

This episode brings the mother ship, and it's spinoff together for this two part episode. Some court scenes included. I like it when Benson, Stabler, Munch, Briscoe, Greene, and Jeffries grill the punk.

  • Law and Order Special Victims Unit!

When a victim is found dead in his car the Detectives of the Special Victims Unit set out to solve the crime. They start by questioning the victim's date, and other women who were involved in similar crimes. They set their sights on a wealthy socialite, and Capt. Cragen feels that this case could end his career. This was a decent episode. I'm disappointed that it was a two parter, and that the second part was not aired as an episode of SVU. And the Season during which the second half airs on Law and Order, is not on DVD or available for download on iTunes. Hopefully I will be able to see the second half before long.
  • Good to see some original Law & Order characters.

This episode was really nothing special. The lack of Elliot and Olivia I think was the main problem. The only good thing was seeing people like Lennie Briscoe and Jack McCoy on SVU and watching how they mixed with the other characters, otherwise this was an almost boring episode. It starts with a man murdered in his car, a single bullet to the head, and the main suspect, a member of a prominent family, has her family and lawyers close ranks around her. Eventually the case takes a turn to another suspect with a nasty habit of killing men in their cars with a single bullet to the head. From there on out it becomes very predictable and boring. The only twist was at the end when Munch proves the man from the beginning of the episode could very well have been killed by the original suspect, but Cragen just shrugs it off and walks away. This was not that great, and the writers can do a lot better.
