  • Not too bad

    I saw Fight last night and honestly, it's largely forgettable. So forgettable that I can't really remember the details of the plot.

    But what I did love about this episode was that, despite a bit of a dull plot, it seemed a bit more like "old school SVU". Just standard investigating, plot twists etc. I don't think it's as bad as a lot of other people thought, but probably not one you'd watch twice.

    However, one thing I loved about this episode was that we got to see Fin and Lake working together. Don't get me wrong, I love Elliot and Olivia, but it's nice to see the other detectives at work. We even see a bit of Cragen. Fin and Lake have a different dynamic to Fin and Munch, but it's interesting nonetheless. We also learn a bit about Lake in this episode, such as he grew up in foster homes. As a new addition, I didn't really know what to think of him...after this episode, I really like him. He seems very passionate and dedicated to the job, as well as being a sweet guy. So while Fight is not overly memorable, it's worth watching to see Fin and Lake working together :)moreless

    In this episode we see Ice T's wife, and some other guy that I cannot think of right now. A young girl is found dead in the park and it is traced back to an ultimate fighter, who apparently has a thing for younger women. In this episode nothing too major happens, it is just another day at SVU, with another case and another look at the sometimes sickening side of humanity. This episode has a few twists and turns, and is one of those where at the end of it you are wondering how it is they got to where they ended from where the started. A good episode, but like I said, not the greatest ever.moreless

  • Olivia & Elliott take a backseat

    Usually I will admit that I don't like it when Olivia and Elliott take a backseat at times. But this one was decent. As it explored the world of Ultimate Fighting and how someone ends up murdered all due to it. Fin and Chester, whom I really like a lot, really worked well in this case. We also learn about Chester along the way. Chester used to box in something like that so he knows a little something about that. We see that violence can lead to consequences. As I think that this needs to be banned as it is disgusting to see people pay money to see people get beaten up or worse, getting killed.moreless

    Two brothers get acused of killing a girl. They have this bad background, being with 19 different families and got in some trouble but lately they were doing great at school.

    In the end, the police finds out that they didnt killed the girl.

    Overall this was a boring episode for me, no Stabler and Benson so that makes a big difference, even if that new guy is funny, i miss my fave duo.

    The story was kinda boring too, im not a big fan of gang related stories so i didnt liked.

    I hope they do a better episode next week, coz has been a while since i didnt watched anything great.moreless

  • Its about time someone besides Olivia and Elliot did the main work and it was an awesome episode.

    It has been sometime since I seen an episode where Olivia and Elliot weren't the main detectives. This episode was a welcomed change because I have always been a fan of Fin and Chester has grown on me really fast. The episode starts with a girl found in the woods and kept me entertained from the start. As Fin and Chester investigate throughout the episode I was drawn in more by just trying to figure out where this one was going ect. I'm not going to post spoilers because I liked this episode and think you should watch it yourself. Fin's dialog is worth it alone. Ice T continues to do a great job playing Fin. Again, awesome episode. I hope to see more like it in the future!moreless
