Is anybody else developing 'KEN' fatigue? Seriously, how much trouble can Finn's kid get into and not wind up arrested and/or tried for conspiracy/harboring fugitives/etc.? I know, I know. "SVU" takes a lot of liberties and flights of fancy with reality (starting that any normal human being working for this department would have been fired and/or quit from all the stress dealing with sex crimes causes on a normal person) but Finn's kid just keeps getting into such ridiculous amounts of trouble it's distracting. Other than the 'Ken' factor it was a decent episode. Why weren't we shown the baby the doctor had with her young patient though? We heard a baby crying when Stabler and Finn busted into the doctor's place but never saw him/her. It's as if the episode had been written/shot already and then they decided to add the baby angle in post-production (which isn't hard to do). It was OK but these past few weeks haven't been "SVU's" best and brightest. When's Sharon Stone going to show up? I want at least a promo to keep me amused.
BTW, I actually saw when they were filming this episode in the NYC sidewalks of 110th St. and Central Park. My commute-to-workbus passes in front of the building used during the scene when Finn and Munch go to the building that's visible from the webcam in the apartment building. It was 7:25AM last January when they were shooting this scene (didn't see Ice-T but I saw Belzer sitting on a chair getting make-up on) and me and most of the bus passengers didn't even bother looking (I did a couple of glances because... shoot, it's "SVU"). If you live and/or work in NYC running into "Law & Order" crews (for all three shows) is as normal as getting stuck in traffic or having a bad day at work: unusual but frequent everyday things one runs into at the Big Apple.
