  • Law and Order Special Victims Unit!

Upon arriving home, Edwin Todd finds his wife raped and bludgeoned. The first lead that the Detectives find is a string of burglaries in the Todd's neighborhood. After running a DNA test, they were able to match it to another break in/rape that occured two weeks prior. When the Detectives determine that the first victim was Edwin's mistress, they begin to see him as a little less than innocent.

This episode was alright. The story wasn't anything special. It was nice to see a guest star that is as famous as Henry Winkler on the show. I think that he did a very convincing job of playing his character, Edwin Todd.moreless
  • Great episode!

Such a great episode! So many twists! I had an emotional rollar coaster in the last ten minutes. It was amazing! Perhaps I am still riding off the high of just watching the episode, but I think this is one of the best SVU episodes. Acting was awesome as usual. Great group scenes which are always nice. Loved the smirk that Alex gave when she informed the Detectives to get the guy's permission this time. Henry Winkler gives a suprisingly great performance as the husband of the victim who isn't quite what he seems to be. Overall a highly recommended episode.moreless

    • Fin Tutuola: What about the problem with the DNA?
Olivia Benson: How did she get the DNA that was found on the rape kit? (stops) By sleeping with her husband.
Elliot Stabler: He took the rest of his semen and placed it in Jessica after he attacked her.

    • Olivia Benson (inspecting the van): I got coffee cups, candy wrappers and half eaten sandwiches. They should really think about cleaning this out every two years.

    • John Munch: Sorry, bad timing. I got jury duty in an hour.
Don Cragen: And you're just telling me this now. If the major can do it, then so can you.
      Fin Tutuola: Thanks.

    • Olivia Benson: Three fireplaces, guy could have come in through the chimney.
Elliot Stabler: Maybe we should be looking for a guy in a red suit.

    • (Olivia brings Jessica Todd into the room in a wheelchair to confront her husband)
Edwin Todd: Her last name is Todd. Now you know my wife is ill. You had no right to bring her here. Hi, Sweetie! You should be resting.
Jessica Todd: Sit down you bastard.
Edwin Todd: You know what, this is all a mistake. Yes, I stole your money. She was only supposed to take your watch. You weren't supposed to get hurt. You're upset. We need to get away. Just you and me. Anywhere you wanna go.
Jessica Todd: The only place you're going is to hell.
