Just because the woman teacher had a brain tumor it was no excuse for her to have sex with a 12 year old boy. If this was a male teacher and a 12 year old girl there would be an there was a final insult at the end when she revealed that she is pregnant and told the boy. I don't blame the boy's mother for beating the bitch. Then Olivia had the audacity to say it was the teacher's right to have the baby. They should have an ending wher the court takes the baby away from her.moreless

After several cameras are found in the restroom at a coffee shop, Detectives Benson and Stabler are out to find the perv who set them up. After finding him, he offers to give up information regarding a crime if they go easy on him. He has footage of a young boy being raped in one of the bathroom stales. They are able to make a positive ID on the boy, but it takes some time for them to find the female suspect. When they find out that she is a principal, they do whatever they can to ensure that it doesn't happen again. This is a good episode. It isn't the best storyline, but it was decent. I think that because this is the Season 5 finale, that it could have been a lot better.moreless
  • A brain tumor makes a woman act out of character.

    9.0
This episode was great as it presented a very interesting dilemma for the detectives to solve and for Casey to prosecute. A brain tumor causes a woman to sexually molest a boy. The episode starts out as illegal cameras set inside a woman's restroom catch the woman in the act. Then figuring out who did it and getting the boy to talk are two big hurdles Olivia and Elliot have to jump. It takes some of their power of persuasion to make the boy admit that it even happened in the first place. They then suspect everyone from the boy's alcoholic mother to all the mothers of soccer players on the boy's team. Finally, after a very lucky break, they question a woman who ends up coming onto Elliot VERY strongly. After a medical exam reveals the tumor, it was great to see how the squad then had to sort out what to do next. In the end the very remorseful woman agrees to register as a sex offender. This was a touching episode that raised a lot of complicated questions with no easy answers.moreless
  • This episode as a woman finding a hidden camera on toilet seat. When the detectives investigate further they find the person videotaped a sexual assault being made to a minor.

I absolutely find this episode clever. It\'s ingenius because

of the fact that the perpetrator actually was impregnated

by the victim. That's what got her arrested again she made

contact with the victim. Which she was told not to do in

order to stay out of jail. But the victim's mother sure did

a number on her. Even though she is an alcoholic.
  • After finding a toliet camera it soon turns out to be a case of a child molester.

This episode was really interesting it was kind of strange too. The principal was having sex with a 6th grader because she had a brian tummer. They only found out about this because of a guys strange obsesion with body functions, a toliet camera. Then they find out that the boy does not have a father and his mother is an alcoholic. The boy falls in love with his principal and she can not help what she it doing, and she ends up pregnet. I thought this was a really strange episode, but it always had me on the edge of my seat. The ending I felt was really cool, this was a great episode.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • After the incident during questioning between Stabler and the teacher, the IAB officer revealed that Elliot told the forensic psychologist from "Slaves" that he wanted to kill all pedophiles.

    • Goof: The video voyeur tells the detectives to "check out DVD 62," but when they're watching it, the snow as they fast forward it and the static at the end indicates it must be a videotape.

    • Nitpick: When the computer technician was enhancing the tape to show the boy's face, he did it instantly. In the Carlie Brucia case, which they refer to, it took NASA a few days to do this.

  • QUOTES (8)

    • (Stabler arrests a now-pregnant Rice for probation violation.)
Elliot Stabler: You didn't need to lay this on that little boy. What were you doin'?
Meredith Rice: I don't know. My husband's leavin' me. My stepson won't even talk to me. I've lost my home, my job. And the irony is, all I've ever wanted is a baby of my own. Careful what you wish for, huh?

    • (SVU wonders if Mrs. Madden is molesting her son.)
Don Cragen: When I was on the bottle, I woke up with my share of regrettable bedmates. But her own son?
Fin Tutuola: The more you drink, the blinder you get.
Elliot Stabler: And her alcoholic blackouts are legend.
Olivia Benson: We canvassed the building. Everybody had a horror story ...
Don Cragen: Before we stagger down this road, let's not rule out other possibilities.

    • John Munch: (about a perpetrator who hid video cameras in public restrooms) Gives a whole new meaning to the term 'live streaming video' ...

    • (While speaking to a perpetrator who committed their crimes in a bathroom.)
Olivia Benson: You had no right to shoot the crap.

    • Olivia Benson: Now which one is the pervert?
Elliot Stabler: The guy who downloaded the most crap.

    • (After Stabler apparently put the perp in the hospital)
Ed Tucker: I was just reading up about your thoughts. Suspended four years ago for telling the company shrink you dreamed about killing pedophiles?
Elliot Stabler: Thought about it. Never did it.
Ed Tucker: You're getting closer and closer.

    • (Profiling the voyeur in the first case.)
Dr. George Huang: He's either a urophiliac -- that's a sexual attraction to urine -- or a coprophiliac, which is...
Olivia Benson: Let's not even go there.

    • Casey Novak: So what, give her a doctor's note? "Please excuse Meredith from molesting boys, she had a bad tumor".

      Finland – December 2, 2009 on YLE TV2

    • Coco (real name Nicole Austin), the actress who played the porn queen, was also managed by Ice-T at the time of this episode and the two were engaged to be married. They wed in 2004.

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • The title of this episode, "Head", is often used as slang for the toilet.

    • This episode appears to be ripped from the headlines of a 2000 Virginia case in which a man whose brain tumor caused him to molest his stepdaughter and act out in sexually inappropriate ways until the tumor was removed. The tumor began to grow back, which again changed the man's behavior, and again it was removed. Parts of this episode were also ripped from the headlines of the Mary Kay LeTourneau case.
