Trivia

FILTER BY TYPE

  • Trivia

    • On the witness stand, the professor claims that it says in Deuteronomy that when a virgin woman sleeps with a man out of wedlock, they should both be stoned to death. However, in the Bible this punishment is reserved for a 'betrothed maiden', which is a woman who is married but not yet living with her husband. As such, this punishment is based on the commission of adultery, not simply engaging in premarital relationships.

  • Quotes

    • Donald Cragen: What, it's her fault she was raped?
Olivia Benson: She brought shame and dishonor to her family. They behead women for that where she comes from.
John Munch: My first wife dishonored me. I had to pay her alimony.

    • Olivia Benson: What is this, open season? A few drinks, a little smoke, a bunch of guys wet down a couple dozen women?
Elliot Stabler: Wilding's back in vogue.
Olivia Benson: I hate that word, "wilding." Like it's some kind of party.

    • Alex Cabot: A man stands up and takes responsibility. A man isn't afraid to face the consequences of his actions.

    • Olivia Benson: Can you imagine what Maureen would do if you told her she couldn't wear jeans?
Elliot Stabler: That's a place I don't want to go.

    • Elliot Stabler: Yo, homeys. You walk the walk, you got it in you to talk the talk.

    • Donald Cragen: It's pucker time, folks!

  • Notes

    • This episode is the first to show the new main cast credits for this season. The cast credit order is as follows- Christopher Meloni, Mariska Hargitay, Richard Belzer, Stephanie March, Ice-T and Dan Florek. Also instead of showing the cast walk down through a door and down the hall (like what was done first season) they are all shown posing around a desk.
