    9.5
When the body of young lady is found dead on a rooftop, Detectives Benson and Stabler find her ID, and determine that she is Allison Downey. While informing her mother of her murder, they find that the victim was not Allison, but her 15 year old cousin Lisa, who was using her ID to get into clubs. Through the course of their investigation they find that Lisa used the internet to find guys to "hook up" with. She would even so sexual favors for the manager at her favorite clothing store in exchange for clothing. When the Detectives find that she had captured the affection of an older man, they turn their sights on him. This was a good episode. The storyline had so many twists in it, that it was hard to figure out who was to blame for the murders of both Lisa and her older boyfriend. I have to say that Hayden Panettiere's performance was great. I loved seeing her on the show, I think that she is one of the few young actresses that could go far in the business.moreless
  • This is one of those episodes that you can relate to, and it\'s the reason I\'m hooked on the show.

    9.9
A girl with her older cousins ID was found dead, and her best friend lies to Stabler and Benson. They handle this episode SO well, and some of the moments are super cool. This was the first episode of Law and Order I ever saw, and the reason why I\'m so addicted to the series. I suppose with the sex and the porn sites, a person today could really relate to this episode, because that stuff really does exist. I thought the acting was really good at the end when Stabler and the girl share that moment, because you know Stabler shouldn\'t sympathize with her, but he can\'t help himself.moreless
  • This episode is about the detectives finding a murdered teenage girl and finding out that she met up with older men online. Then they find out that not only did she have HIV but she was the object of a older man's obsession.moreless

I absolutely loooove this episode because it was soooooo exciting. I like the way Hayden Panettiere played the part. This had soooo many twists and turns that I had no idea who the killer was. I mean the girl hooked up wih sooo many people that there were sooo many suspects. The fact that it was the doctor who was obsessed with her was a shocker.

Hayden Panettiere did an awesome job. She did a REALLY good job. I mean she is a really good actress. I haven't seen her before this episode but she she is talented. I wish her the best in her future endeavors.

This storyline was clever. I applaud Dick Wolf and all the other producers for making this is a great show to watch. I mean I have started to watch this more. I mean I'm a new fan because I just started to watch it this year.

Overall, this episode was pivotal, exciting, and cleverly plotted. I mean I have never been as shocked of the other episodes outcomes as I have on this one. I give it five thumbs up.moreless
  • Good twists and strong family moments abound.

    9.1
While the twists and turns of the case itself are good, the way Stabler reacts to the situation is also a highlight. The scene where he sees his daughter and tries to ask her if she's had sex is revealing as we see his instincts as a cop overriding his instincts as a father to make it more of an interrogation, showing how far Stabler has gotten from his family. It also helps that he quickly forms a bond with the dead girl's father, who can't believe his little girl could have gotten into such a life. The scene at the end when they shake hands and the man tells Stabler "look after your own" is one of those nice quiet scenes the series does so rarely but well. And when Stabler does confront the second killer at the very end, he does seem more of a parental figure than a cop, another excellent touch. A well written episode that gives us more empathy for Stabler and how he deals with his family life.moreless
  • Will the real killer please stand up?

    9.0
In "Hooked", Benson and Stabler investigate the murder of a 15 year-old girl. Hitting dead ends left and right, the case becomes even more convoluted when they find out that the girl was HIV positive and leading the life of a prostitute on the side. Warner illustrates how HIV cases can spread exponentially in areas, and the detectives redouble their efforts to break the case. Recovering the names of several of the dead girls' partners, Elliot spots a familiar name on the list - his daughter's ex-boyfriend. Stabler immediately goes to confront his daughter to find out if she has had sex. Stabler's fury revs up another notch. Red herrings abound in this episode and just when the two think they're closing in on the suspect, he turns up dead as well. After discovering the deceased girls' best friend Allison in a compromising situation, Allison leads them to a pornographic video company for which her friend had worked under a false name. Just when the detectives think this case is wrapped and a suspect arrested, a videotape incriminates someone they had never suspected in the second murder. The motive and rationale behind the murder was quite suprising. This episode was very well-plotted, and the twists and turns will keep all viewers guessing until the very end.moreless
