A teenager's body is found in the Hudson, and identifying her requires Benson to go undercover as a madam. Unfortunately, her name is the easy part because it leads to an abusive parent, a school for geniuses, and a reason so unreal that Benson and Stabler end up advocating for the perpetrator with the ADA assigned to the case.moreless
  • Perfection is Not What It Seems...

What starts with a murder of a young girl ends up being a commentary on the schools that put students up against each other. This episode has to be one of my favorites, next to the pilot.

It begins with the murder of a young prodigy and soon we discover her difficult home life and how she and her sister were groomed (and abused) to be perfect by their father. We soon discover that this girl goes to a school for geniuses and that is where we meet her roommate, who is not all there emotional although she is incredibly smart.

I liked this episode because I came from a high school that was considered for those above average. However, our sister school was a school that mirrored the school in the episode. Competition is healthy, but only in small amounts. When perfection and only perfection is emphasized, it ends up hurting the gentle psyche of a developing teenage. There is a reason why perfection is unobtainable.

This episode also focuses on sleep deprivation and using drugs to keep awake: a common practice among students. Most people do not acknowledge this, feeling that all-nighters are part of the educational experience. But this episode shows the detrimental effects of sleep deprivation.

This episode was amazing and the acting was bone-chilling. I really loved and it's definitely one of my favorites.moreless
  • The Episode Involves a Prodigy and her abusive father, a prostitution ring and a harsh school. Full of plot twists and amazing characters.

The Episode was Fine, Awesome and can i say incredible. This isn't one of the best episode, but it shows that the show hasn't lost its luster. All Great Characters and a Great Case and watching secrets get revealed. And you want believe who is the preparatory. Unbelievable, i must say just unbelievable. This was a fine episode, i could never look away but the show had some weak point it is somewhat forgettable, and as you can see i don't have much to write about it, well that's about it. I hope the next episode is more memorable. But i must say one special actress was amazing in her role. Guess Who? Well Adios, Vamp.moreless
  • A girl turns up dead and rape is immediatly suspected, though proved otherwise eventually.

I thought this episode was very good. The acting was FANTASTIC!! Especially by the Sarah Hyland, who played Jennifer Banks. She was amazing and I hope to see much more from her.

I thought that Olivia posing as a madame kind of. . .well it makes sense, I guess. I just wasn't really a fan of it because they're kind of dead end characters that we run into...but maybe Alik will turn up again in another episode? That would be interesting.

It was a very interesting storyline and everybody was very good and it was very believable. Again, Sarah Hyland was amazing and ugh...i bet they all loved her. I think I'm a little jealous :)moreless
