  • Trivia

  • Quotes

    • (Stabler interrogate the suspect.)
Elliot Stabler: Now where'd you get Linus's semen? Did you two have a little, don't ask don't tell thing going on? Walter, why'd ya do it?
Walter Inman: I don't know what you're talking about, but if you get any closer, I'll jam my knee into your balls so hard you'll have to spit 'em out.

    • (Speaking to Cragen in his office.)
Olivia Benson: I believe Linus. I don't think he slept with Josie.
Elliot Stabler: Well, a man's DNA doesn't just pop up inside a woman without his participation.

    • (In Judge Petrovsky's chambers, after the competency hearing.)
Attorney Walsh: My client is sick, Your Honor, but she cannot stop. Whenever she's under stress, she will make herself ill.
Casey Novak: Well, then, gee, why don't we let her off before she injects herself with HIV.

    • (After Linus pushes Tessa into the pool and she splashes her way to the surface.)
Olivia Benson: Look, it's a miracle! She can swim.
(Tessa climbs out of the pool.)
Elliot Stabler: She can walk too.

    • (Discussing Tessa McKellen.)
Casey Novak: It's one thing to play sick to get attention, another to inject yourself with streptococcus bacteria. She could have died.
Dr. George Huang: Patients with Munchausen's often do. I had a patient who catherized herself to pump egg whites into her kidneys and cause renal failure. She was about to be put on the transplant list when we caught her.

    • Tim: Vicky didn't love Alan. She wasn't going to marry him.
Fin Tutuola: She tell you that between lap dances?
      Tim: No. After work.

    • Olivia Benson: What do PMCs do?
John Munch: Profit from the fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Fin Tutuola: Please, don't get him started on Dick Cheney again.

    • Don Cragen: "I catch killers for a living but even I wasn't prepared for the horror of Rosemary's Bridesmaid." I gotta say this?
John Munch: I've seen it. Believe me, nothing could prepare you for that piece of schlock.

    • Stabler: The only person who could've gotten in here is Spider-Man.
Spider-Man is a Marvel Comics character.

    • Military Contractor: We're always looking for a few good men. (looks at Olivia) And women.
"We're looking for a few good men" is a former recruiting slogan for the United States Marine Corps. It was later changed to add, "And women." This slogan also inspired the title for the 1992 movie A Few Good Men, starring Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise.

    • John Munch refers to the Rosemary's Bridesmaid director as a "student Scorsese." Martin Scorsese is the legendary film director whose credits include Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, and Cape Fear.

    • Casey Novak: Have you heard of the Son of Sam law, Walter? You can't profit from illegal activity.

The Son of Sam Law is named for David Berkowitz, a serial killer who called himself "the Son of Sam" in taunting letters that he sent to the police during his killing spree. He tried to convince the jury that he was insane and claimed that a dog had ordered him to kill. It didn't work and he's currently serving a life sentence.

    • The title of the film Rosemary's Bridesmaid film is an homage to Roman Polanski's classic horror film Rosemary's Baby starring Mia Farrow.
