When a girl is found dead behind a dumpster, the detectives have to first figure out who she is, then who her killer was. It takes the first fifteen minutes of the episode to find her mother who is able to ID her, only to find out that it's not the mother's daughter after all. Back to square one. Five minutes later we finally get a positive ID on the girl, only to find out was a gymnast having a relationship with one of her sponsors. The detectives are given insight into the harsh cut-throat world of gymnastics by the victim's family, friends, and coach that makes their stomachs turn, and their case much more complicated. In the end, however, they sort it all out. This was only an okay episode, and not one of my favorites.moreless

Once again the show keeps you guessing as to who was the killer.

This episode had lots of twists and turns in it. First when the body is found they try to identify her, it leads them to a mother who reported her daughter missing, she ran away after trying to protect Mom from abusive Dad. They bring her in to ID the body only to find out it's not her. They then figure out she was a gymnast. You're kept guessing who actually killed her, there's her coach, very hard on the girls and pushes them very hard. Then we suspect a benefactor of the gym, Kyle Hubert, we find out they were in love, when they go to arrest him because Kristi was only 14, he informs them she was 19 and lied because the coach didn't like to work with older girls. In the end we find out that the coach had her running partner spying on her, after she tells the coach about Kyle and Kristi, the coach makes her break it off. Instead of giving her the spot on the team, he forgives Kristi. During their run she killed her. This episode really kept you wondering. One of the things I really liked about this episode even though it was only one short scene was when Elliott's daughter Maureen was upset about getting a B on a paper because she wouldn't be able to get into a good colleg with a grade like that. It brought home what Elliott was seeing at work with kids pushing so hard.moreless

Law and Order Special Victims Unit!

When the body of an unidentified girl is found behind a dumpster, the Detectives of the Special Victims Unit are on the case. Through Missing Persons they are able to identify the victim as 16 year old Kristy Meyerson. It turns out that the victim is a gymnast who is the star athlete of her training facility. The first suspect that the detectives come across is a man who they only know as Popi. It turns out that Popi's real name is Kyle Hubert. He would shower Kristy with gifts of jewerly and clothing because he admired her abilities. He has a "private" sexual relationship with the victim, who turned out to be 19, rather than the 16 the detectives originally thought. It turns out that relationships were not allowed by Kristy's trainer, and when her friend Lori found out about the relationship, she turned her in. She was hoping to get Kristy into enough trouble so that she would be kicked off the team. And with Kristy gone, she would be able to take over her place in the spotlight.

This was an interesting episode. It was another episode that kept you guessing about who the perp was and what their motive for the attack was.moreless
