When the death of a young man in what was supposed to be a 'pretend' fight is caught on film, a shocking witness turns things around in court.
  • Law and Order Special Victims Unit!

    7.0
    "Good"
The Detectives of the Special Victims Unit are called in when a young boy is found severely beaten and murdered. He and his friends were filming their own extreme wrestling videos when something went wrong. But when that Detectives do not expect is the Defense that is used to try and prove that those involved were innocent.

The story line was pretty interesting. It seemed a little like a filler episode because it didn't really have anything to do with any of the episodes from the rest of the season. The only thing that kind of tied it to the previous episodes was the part where Elliot was playing cards with his children.moreless
  • The detectives learn that one boy kills another in what was supposed to be a pretend fight. The investigation takes a bizarre turn when they learn the boys were fighting over a girl at their school who is not what she seems.moreless

I loved this episode! Misti Traya does an amazing turn as the focus of the episode. I found her performance believable and compelling. As for the episode itself, I enjoyed it very much. It started out being about one boy killing another one, but took a dramatic turn, and held my interest the whole way through. The story of Misti's character, Cassandra, was similar to another episode of original L&O, but it was interesting anyway. Overall, I thought it was a very good episode. They kept the pace up, the young actors did a great job, and it held my interest the whole way through.moreless
  • This was very interesting. Im still trying to figure out wat happened. It left me with a lot of questions.

This epi was very interesting. You found out a lot but it also left you with a whole lotta qeustion. It was not the best way to end I season but it was ok. I am really looking foward to season 9 to get some answers. The only part that I could not stand was the ending when the played that wack song. I was like wat the is this. It is so very annoying. It would have been so much better without the song. I heard someone say that it was played at the end of "Crash". If it was than they should have left it at the end Crash. I am atotal EO shipper and that whole thing with Kathy just messed everything up.Cant wait till next season.moreless
  • I rarely watch SVU because the content was getting kind of crazy but this one was alright.

    9.5
    "Superb"
This one was pretty good, but much more toned down than the stomach wrenching stories I'm use to see on SVU. Typically I only watch the original series and C.I., but this one caught my attention. It was a good story though I wish there were more twist and turns in the end. I use to the deranged criminals who are on the level where they don't know they're own problems on C.I., so the fact that she was mentally stuck in a cycle of being 16 caused the story to be ended with a lackluster ending, but it was watchable. We don't find out what happens to the boy who was originally arrested in the case or I missed something, and with the state of mind of the girl is she going to jail for a long time or some mental facility, so there were some holes there, but I'll give it a good rating, but the overall writing of the story could have gone better. The initial set-up was pretty nice, it just kinda fizzled @ the end.moreless

Not the best episode but definetely not the worst. I was really into in the beggining but then the whole story about the girl kinda twisted things out. I thought they should have ended the fist story about the 2 boys with some surprising ending different than they did.

The story about the girl should be a different episode.
I didnt liked the connection in the story.

But im wishing for a great finale next tuesday and hopping that eventually we get to see some love :)

This season had some crappy episodes and some very good ones, in which Mariska was the great star, i hope she keep on doing this for a very long while.moreless
